Abstract

A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to identifying a first user via a mobile device, load a first non-person entity associated with the first user from the mobile device to configure vehicle settings, the first non-person entity including a driver setting, a first entertainment setting and a second entertainment setting; and responsive to identifying a second user entering the vehicle, switch from the first entertainment setting to a second entertainment setting.

Claims (18)

1. A vehicle, comprising:

a controller, programmed to

load a first non-person entity (NPE) associated with a first user from a mobile device to configure vehicle settings, the first NPE including a first entertainment setting associated with a first service;

identify the first user is associated with a family group;

load the first service;

identify a second service is subscribed by the second user associated with the family group and shared to the family group;

responsive to receiving a request to load a second service, load the second service regardless a presence of the second user in the vehicle;

identify a radio station is subscribed by the second user and unshared to the family group;

responsive to receiving a request to load the radio station and detecting an absence of the second user in the vehicle, decline to load the radio station; and

responsive to detecting the second user entering the vehicle while the first user remains in the vehicle, load the radio station.

2. The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further programmed to identify the second user using biometric information collected via a biometric sensor including at least one of: a camera, or a fingerprint reader.

3. The vehicle of claim 2 , wherein the controller is further programmed to:

load a second NPE associated with the second user from a cloud server; and

switch from a second entertainment setting to a third entertainment setting included in the second NPE.

4. The vehicle of claim 3 , wherein the second NPE further includes a setting for subscribed service, and the controller is further programmed to:

responsive to receiving a request to load the subscribed service, load the subscribed service from a local storage of a vehicle; and

responsive to detecting the second user has left the vehicle, suspend the subscribed service.

5. The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein the first entertainment setting includes at least one of: a radio setting, a music setting, or a subscription setting.
