comprises a second layer:

exhibiting a second depth, less than the first depth, from the exterior face;

comprising a structure configured to mate with the strap in the retracted position; and

defining a set of secondary apertures arranged adjacent the structure, and configured to receive the finger of the user during deployment the strap from the retracted position to the deployed position.

10. The device case of claim 9 :

wherein the set of secondary apertures comprises:

a first secondary aperture:

arranged on a first side of the structure; and

configured to receive the finger of the user during deployment the strap from the retracted position to the deployed position from the first side; and

a second secondary aperture:

arranged adjacent a second side of the structure opposite the first side; and

configured to receive the finger of the user during deployment the strap from the retracted position to the deployed position from the second side;

wherein the structure exhibits a first width extending between the first secondary aperture and the second secondary aperture; and

wherein the strap:

exhibits a second width greater than the first width; and

and is configured to seat along a length of the structure in the retracted position.

11. The device case of claim 9 , further comprising a textile liner:

extending across the exterior face of the body; and

configured to compress through the set of secondary apertures and toward the first layer responsive to a downward force applied by the finger of the user during deployment of the strap from the retracted position into the deployed position.

12. The device case of claim 1 :

wherein the strap comprises:

a set of strap sections; and

a set of hinges, each hinge, in the set of hinges, arranged between contiguous strap sections, in the set of strap sections; and
