Abstract

According to one embodiment, a wireless communication device includes a receiver configured to receive from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated; and a transmitter configured to transmit second information specifying at least one communication resource allocated to each of the other wireless communication devices based on the first information. The transmitter is configured to transmit signals via the communication resources specified in the second information and the receiver is configured to receive signals via the communication resources specified in the second information.

Claims (59)

1. A wireless communication device comprising:

a receiver configured to receive from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated;

controlling circuitry configured to allocate two or more consecutive communication resources to the other communication device based on the first information,

wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit signals via the communication resources allocated to the other communication device,

the receiver is configured to receive signals via the communication resources allocated to the other communication device, and

the communication resources allocated to the other communication device are specified by at least one set of:

a smallest communication resource number or a largest communication resource number of consecutive communication resources being allocated to the other communication device; and

communication resource width information specifying a number or bandwidth of the consecutive communication resources, or

at least one set of a smallest communication resource number and a largest communication resource number of consecutive communication resources being allocated to the other communication device.

2. A wireless communication device comprising:

a receiver configured to receive from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated; and

controlling circuitry configured to allocate at least one communication resource to the other communication device based on the first information;

a transmitter is configured to transmit signals via the at least one communication resource allocated to the other communication device,

the receiver is configured to receive signals via the communication resources allocated to the other communication device,

the first information includes a reason code field to identify a reason for which the communication resource is selected,

the reason code includes at least

a code indicating that the communication resource is selected because other communication resources are unavailable, or

a code indicating that the communication resource is selected but other communication resources are also available, and

the wireless communication device comprising controlling circuitry configured to allocate the communication resource based on the reason code included in the first information.

3. A wireless communication device comprising:

a receiver configured to receive from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated;

controlling circuitry configured to allocate at least one communication resource to the other communication device based on the first information;

wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit signals via the at least one communication resource allocated to the other communication device,

the receiver is configured to receive signals via the at least one communication resource allocated to the other communication device,

each of the plurality of communication resources belong to any one of a plurality of channels,

the transmitter is configured to transmit second information representing to have a capability of handling a communication scheme in which transmission and reception are performed via the plurality of channels at independent timings among the channels, and

the receiver is configured to receive the first information from the other wireless communication devices at independent timings, respectively.

4. The wireless communication device according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one antenna.

5. A wireless communication method comprising:

receiving from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated;

allocating two or more consecutive communication resources to the other communication device based on the first information;

transmitting signals via the communication resources allocated to the other communication device;

receiving signals via the communication resources allocated to the other communication device; and

wherein

the communication resources allocated to the other communication device are specified by at least one set of:

a smallest communication resource number or largest communication resource number of consecutive communication resources being allocated to the other communication device; and

communication resource width information specifying a number or bandwidth of the consecutive communication resources, or

at least one set of a smallest communication resource number and a largest communication resource number of consecutive communication resources being allocated to the other communication device.

6. A wireless communication method comprising:

receiving from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated;

allocating at least one communication resource to the other communication device based on the first information;

transmitting signals via the at least one communication resources allocated to the other communication device; and

receiving signals via the at least one communication resources allocated to the other communication device,

wherein

the first information includes a reason code field to identify a reason for which the communication resource is selected,

the reason code includes at least

a code indicating that the communication resource is selected because other communication resources are unavailable, or

a code indicating that the communication resource is selected but other communication resources are also available, and

the wireless communication method comprising allocating the communication resource based on the reason code included in the first information.

7. A wireless communication method comprising:

receiving from each of a plurality of other wireless communication devices first information specifying at least one communication resource requested to be allocated;

allocating at least one communication resource to the other communication device based on the first information;

transmitting signals via at least one communication resource allocated to the other communication device; and

receiving signals via the at least one communication resource allocated to the other communication device,

wherein

each of the plurality of communication resources belong to any one of a plurality of channels,

the wireless communication method comprising:

transmitting second information representing to have a capability of handling a communication scheme in which transmission and reception are performed via the plurality of channels at independent timings among the channels, and

receiving the first information from the other wireless communication devices at independent timings, respectively.
