Abstract

Disclosed herein are a method and a device for transmitting an uplink channel in a wireless communication system. According to the present disclosure, a UE transmits to a base station information associated with uplink transmission supported by the UE and the UE information includes a subset including at least one transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) supported by the UE. The UE may receive from the base station uplink transmission information including a TPMI for transmitting an uplink channel and transmit to the base station the uplink channel based on the uplink transmission information, and the uplink channel may be transmitted through full transmission power configured by the base station based on a case where the TPMI is included in the subset.

transmitting UE capability information related to at least one transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) full power transmission;

receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the PUSCH full power transmission, the DCI including precoding information; and

performing the PUSCH full power transmission using a codebook subset based on the precoding information, the DCI and the UE capability information,

wherein in case the PUSCH full power transmission is based on the at least one TPMI, a scaling factor for a PUSCH transmission power is configured to be 1,

wherein the precoding information includes at least one fully-coherent TPMI for single-layer transmission using four antenna ports, and

wherein all of the four antenna ports support a non-zero power PUSCH transmission based on the at least one fully coherent TPMI.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message including the PUSCH transmission power usable by the UE.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the RRC message further includes mode information associated with at least one transmission mode applicable to the UE.

4. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein a transmission power for the PUSCH full power transmission is equally split across antenna ports on which the PUSCH with non-zero power is transmitted.

5. A user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

one or more transceivers;

one or more processors; and

one or more memories storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, perform operations that include:

transmitting UE capability information related to at least one first transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) full power transmission;

receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the PUSCH full power transmission, the DCI including precoding information; and

performing the PUSCH full power transmission using a codebook subset based on the precoding information, the DCI and the UE capability information,

wherein in case the PUSCH full power transmission is based on the at least one TPMI, a scaling factor for a PUSCH transmission power is configured to be 1,

wherein the precoding information includes at least one fully-coherent TPMI for single-layer transmission using four antenna ports, and

wherein all of the four antenna ports support a non-zero power PUSCH transmission based on the at least one fully coherent TPMI.

6. The UE of claim 5 , wherein the operations further comprise:

receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message including the PUSCH transmission power usable by the UE.

7. The UE of claim 6 , wherein the RRC message further includes mode information associated with at least one transmission mode applicable to the UE.

8. The UE of claim 5 ,

wherein a transmission power for the PUSCH full power transmission is equally split across antenna ports on which the PUSCH with non-zero power is transmitted.

wherein the precoding information includes at least one fully-coherent TPMI for single-layer transmission using four antenna ports, and

wherein all of the four antenna ports support a non-zero power PUSCH transmission based on the at least one fully coherent TPMI.

10. The method of claim 9 , further comprising:

transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) message including the PUSCH transmission power usable by the UE.
