Abstract

A transport tray for transporting and heating chemical substances, includes a one-piece support structure with a base and a frame fixedly connected thereto, wherein the support structure supports a lining of a tray-shaped cavity for accommodating the chemical substances, wherein the lining includes a base plate lying on the base and multiple frame plates clamped against the frame, wherein the lining is supported by the support structure such that the thermal expansions of the base plate and the frame plates in their plate planes are not impeded.

Claims (22)

1. A transport tray for transporting and heating chemical substances, which comprises a one-piece support structure with a base and a frame fixedly connected thereto, wherein the one-piece support structure supports a lining of a tray-shaped cavity for accommodating the chemical substances, wherein the lining comprises a base plate lying on the base and multiple frame plates clamped against the frame, wherein the lining is supported by the one-piece support structure such that thermal expansions of the base plate and the frame plates in their plate planes are not impeded, wherein the frame plates are clamped to the frame by clamping strips, wherein the clamping strips each have at least one groove for accommodating an edge region of an adjacent frame plate, wherein the edge region is accommodated with play in the groove of the clamping strip.

2. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure is a perimetral frame.

3. The transport tray according to claim 2 , wherein the perimetral frame of the one-piece support structure comprises plate-shaped frame sections, wherein at least one plate-shaped frame section has at least one cutout.

4. The transport tray according to claim 3 , wherein the at least one cutout is an internal cutout.

5. The transport tray according to claim 3 , wherein the at least one cutout is an edge cutout.

6. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure consists of a plurality of pillars.

7. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the frame plates are in each case seated on the base plate.

8. The transport tray according to claim 7 , which has wedge-shaped corner strips for covering respective abutting edges between the frame plates and the base plate.

9. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the base plate lies on the base of the one-piece support structure and is arranged with play within the frame of the support structure and the remaining components of the lining.

10. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the base plate extends beyond the frame plates in the plate plane.

11. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein a material of the lining is more corrosion-resistant than a material of the one-piece support structure, based on chemical reaction of the same product.

12. A method comprising producing a cathode material for a lithium-ion battery with a transport tray according to claim 1 .

13. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the base of the one-piece support structure has a plurality of holes.

14. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the one-piece support structure contains a material selected from cordierite, mullite, a cordierite/spinel/mullite mixture, R—SiC, N—SiC, S—SiC, Si—SiC, oxidically bonded Si—C, or mixtures thereof, and/or wherein the lining contains at least 80% aluminum/magnesium spinel, yttrium oxide (Y 2 O 3 ), cerium oxide (CeO 2 ), hafnium oxide, aluminum oxide (Al 2 O 3 ), magnesium oxide (MgO), zirconium oxide (ZrO 2 ), or mixtures thereof.

15. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the base plate and the frame plates have a coating, comprising at least 80% aluminum/magnesium spinel, yttrium oxide (Y 2 O 3 ), cerium oxide (CeO 2 ), hafnium oxide, aluminum oxide (Al 2 O 3 ), magnesium oxide (MgO), zirconium oxide (ZrO 2 ), or mixtures thereof.

16. The transport tray according to claim 1 , wherein the base plate and the frame plates have a coating, comprising at least aluminum/magnesium spinel, yttrium oxide (Y 2 O 3 ), cerium oxide (CeO 2 ), hafnium oxide, aluminum oxide (Al 2 O 3 ), magnesium oxide (MgO), zirconium oxide (ZrO 2 ), or mixtures thereof.

17. A transport tray for transporting and heating chemical substances, which comprises a one-piece support structure with a base and a frame fixedly connected thereto, wherein the one-piece support structure supports a lining of a tray-shaped cavity for accommodating the chemical substances, wherein the lining comprises a base plate lying on the base and multiple frame plates clamped against the frame, wherein the lining is supported by the one-piece support structure such that thermal expansions of the base plate and the frame plates in their plate planes are not impeded, wherein the base of the one-piece support structure has a plurality of holes.

18. The transport tray according to claim 17 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure is a perimetral frame.

19. The transport tray according to claim 17 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure consists of a plurality of pillars.

20. A transport tray for transporting and heating chemical substances, which comprises a one-piece support structure with a base and a frame fixedly connected thereto, wherein the one-piece support structure supports a lining of a tray-shaped cavity for accommodating the chemical substances, wherein the lining comprises a base plate lying on the base and multiple frame plates clamped against the frame, wherein the lining is supported by the one-piece support structure such that thermal expansions of the base plate and the frame plates in their plate planes are not impeded, wherein the one-piece support structure contains a material selected from cordierite, mullite, a cordierite/spinel/mullite mixture, R—SiC, N—SiC, S—SiC, Si—SiC, oxidically bonded Si—C, or mixtures thereof, and/or wherein the lining contains at least 80% aluminum/magnesium spinel, yttrium oxide (Y 2 O 3 ), cerium oxide (CeO 2 ), hafnium oxide, aluminum oxide (Al 2 O 3 ), magnesium oxide (MgO), zirconium oxide (ZrO 2 ), or mixtures thereof.

21. The transport tray according to claim 20 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure is a perimetral frame.

22. The transport tray according to claim 20 , wherein the frame of the one-piece support structure consists of a plurality of pillars.
