Abstract

A video signal processing method includes: a step for deriving an intra prediction mode of a current block; a step for constructing a reference sample around the current block; a step for generating a prediction sample of the current block by using the reference sample on the basis of the intra prediction mode; and a step for restoring the current block on the basis of the prediction sample. The step for generating the prediction sample may include: a step for setting a filter flag value which specifies a filter coefficient of an interpolation filter applied to the reference sample on the basis of the width and height of the current block; and a step for performing filtering on the reference sample by using the interpolation filter having the filter coefficient specified by the filter flag.

Claims (34)

1. A video signal decoding device comprising a processor,

wherein the processor is configured to:

when a prediction mode of a current block is an intra-prediction mode, obtain, from a bitstream, an ISP (Intra Sub Partitions) mode flag indicating whether to apply an ISP mode to the current block, and determine whether to apply the ISP mode to the current block according to the ISP mode flag;

generate a reference sample for the current block;

determine a value of a filter flag for specifying an interpolation filter applied to the reference sample, wherein the interpolation filter includes a plurality of filter coefficients;

generate a prediction sample of the current block by performing filtering for the reference sample by using the interpolation filter specified by the value of the filter flag; and

reconstruct the current block on the basis of the prediction sample,

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be a first value among a plurality of values, and

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is not applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be any one among the plurality of values based on a size of the current block.

2. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a decoding method, the decoding method comprising:

when a prediction mode of a current block is an intra-prediction mode, obtaining, from a bitstream, an ISP (Intra Sub Partitions) mode flag indicating whether to apply an ISP mode to the current block, and determining whether to apply the ISP mode to the current block according to the ISP mode flag;

generating a reference sample for the current block;

determining a value of a filter flag for specifying an interpolation filter applied to the reference sample, wherein the interpolation filter includes a plurality of filter coefficients; generating a prediction sample of the current block by performing filtering for the reference sample by using the interpolation filter specified by the value of the filter flag; and

reconstructing the current block on the basis of the prediction sample,

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be a first value among a plurality of values, and

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is not applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be any one among the plurality of values based on a size of the current block.

3. A video signal encoding device comprising a processor, wherein the processor is configured to:

when a prediction mode of a current block is an intra-prediction mode, determine whether to apply an ISP (Intra Sub Partitions) mode to the current block and generating an ISP mode flag indicating whether to apply the ISP mode to the current block;

generate a reference sample for the current block;

determine a value of a filter flag for specifying an interpolation filter applied to the reference sample, wherein the interpolation filter includes a plurality of filter coefficients;

generate a prediction sample of the current block by performing filtering for the reference sample by using the interpolation filter specified by the value of the filter flag; and

encode the current block on the basis of the prediction sample,

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be a first value among a plurality of values, and

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is not applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be any one among the plurality of values based on a size of the current block.

4. A method of transmitting a bitstream, the method comprising:

transmitting the bitstream generated by an image encoding method,

when a prediction mode of a current block is an intra-prediction mode, determining whether to apply an ISP (Intra Sub Partitions) mode to the current block and generating an ISP mode flag indicating whether to apply the ISP mode to the current block;

generating a reference sample for the current block;

determining a value of a filter flag for specifying an interpolation filter applied to the reference sample, wherein the interpolation filter includes a plurality of filter coefficients;

generating a prediction sample of the current block by performing filtering for the reference sample by using the interpolation filter specified by the value of the filter flag;

generating encoded data of the current block on the basis of the prediction sample; and

transmitting the bitstream including the encoded data of the current block,

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be a first value among a plurality of values, and

wherein when it is determined that the ISP mode is not applied on the current block, the value of the filter flag is determined to be any one among the plurality of values based on a size of the current block.
