Pesticidal compositions and related methods
Pesticidal compositions are provided that include at least one pesticidal active ingredient and at least one organic solvent. Adjuvant compositions are provided for use with at least one pesticidal active ingredient that include at least one organic solvent. Methods of producing an adjuvant composition and pesticidal composition are also provided.
1. An adjuvant composition for increasing the efficacy of a herbicidal active ingredient, the adjuvant composition comprising:
benzyl acetate; and
N,N′-dimethyl-4,4′-bipyridinium dichloride,
wherein the benzyl acetate increases the efficacy of the N,N′-dimethyl-4,4′-bipyridinium dichloride compared to the N,N′-dimethyl-4,4′-bipyridinium dichloride alone.
2. An adjuvant composition for increasing the efficacy of a bactericide active ingredient, the adjuvant composition comprising:
diethyl malonate;
phthalimide; and
dithiocarbamate
wherein the diethyl malonate increases the efficacy of the phthalimide and dithiocarbamate compared to the phthalimide and dithiocarbamate alone.
3. A tank mix pesticidal composition comprising:
the adjuvant composition of claim 1 ; and
water, spray oil, or a combination of water and spray oil.
4. The tank mix pesticidal composition of claim 3 , comprising:
from about 0.01% w/w to about 5% w/w of N,N′-dimethyl-4,4′-bipyridinium dichloride;
from about 0.2% w/w to about 2 w/w % benzyl acetate; and
from about 80% w/w to about 99% of the water, spray oil, or a combination of water and spray oil.
5. A tank mix pesticidal composition comprising:
the adjuvant composition of claim 2 ; and
water, spray oil, or a combination of water and spray oil.
6. The tank mix pesticidal composition of claim 5 , comprising:
from about 0.01% w/w to about 5% w/w phthalimide;
from about 0.01% w/w to about 5% w/w dithiocarbamate;
from about 0.2% w/w to about 2 w/w % diethyl malonate; and
from about 80% w/w to about 99% of the water, spray oil, or a combination of water and spray oil.
