Abstract

A communication system including a terminal, an electronic device, and a server is provided. The terminal includes a login part logging in to the server, an identifier reception part receiving a device identifier corresponding to a user who has logged in, and a terminal instruction transmission part transmitting to the server the device identifier received by the identifier reception part and an instruction for the electronic device. The server includes an identifier storage part storing a user identifier in association with the device identifier of the electronic device corresponding to the user, an identifier transmission part acquiring device identifier corresponding to the user identifier and transmitting the device identifier to the terminal, a first server instruction reception part receiving the device identifier and the instruction for the electronic device, and a server instruction transmission part transmitting the received instruction to the electronic device corresponding to the received device identifier.

Claims (86)

1. A communication system, comprising:

a terminal;

an electronic device; and

a server, wherein

the terminal comprises:

a first hardware processor configured to execute:

a login part that logs in to the server;

an identifier reception part that receives from the server a device identifier being an identifier of the electronic device corresponding to a user who has logged in by the login part; and

a terminal instruction transmission part that transmits to the server the device identifier received by the identifier reception part and an instruction for the electronic device; and

the server comprises:

a memory comprising an identifier storage part that stores a user identifier being an identifier of the user in association with the device identifier of the electronic device corresponding to the user; and

a second hardware processor configured to execute:

an identifier transmission part that acquires from the identifier storage part the device identifier corresponding to the user identifier of the user of the terminal that has logged in and transmits the device identifier to the terminal that has logged in;

a first server instruction reception part that receives from the terminal the device identifier and the instruction for the electronic device; and

a server instruction transmission part that transmits the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part to the electronic device corresponding to the device identifier received by the first server instruction reception part, wherein

the electronic device is an electronic musical instrument; and

the electronic musical instrument is configured to acquire timbre data used for sound production by the electronic musical instrument from the server in response to the instruction from the user.

2. The communication system according to claim 1 , wherein

the electronic device comprises a third processor configured to execute a device execution part that executes first processing according to the instruction received from the server.

3. The communication system according to claim 2 , wherein

the second hardware processor of the server further executes a server execution part that, in response to the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part requiring second processing by the server, performs the second processing according to the instruction;

the server instruction transmission part of the server is configured to transmit the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part and a processing result of the second processing performed by the server execution part to the electronic device corresponding to the device identifier received by the first server instruction reception part;

the device execution part of the electronic device is configured to execute the first processing according to the instruction received from the server and additional processing according to the processing result received from the server.

4. The communication system according to claim 2 , wherein

the third processor of the electronic device further executes a device instruction transmission part that transmits to the server a second instruction according to a first processing result of the first processing performed by the device execution part according to the instruction received from the server;

the second hardware processor of the server further executes:

a second server instruction reception part that receives the second instruction from the electronic device; and

a server execution part that performs second processing according to the second instruction received by the second server instruction reception part;

the server instruction transmission part of the server is configured to transmit to the electronic device a second processing result of the second processing performed by the server execution part according to the second instruction received by the second server instruction reception part;

the device execution part of the electronic device is configured to execute processing according to the second processing result received from the server.

5. The communication system according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a communication device, connected to the electronic device and configured to communicate with the server, wherein

the communication device comprises a fourth processor configured to execute:

a server reception part that receives a second instruction or a processing result from the server; and

a device transmission part that transmits the second instruction or the processing result received by the server reception part to the electronic device.

6. The communication system according to claim 5 , wherein

the fourth processor of the communication device further executes:

a device reception part that receives a third instruction from the electronic device; and

a communication device instruction transmission part that transmits the third instruction received by the device reception part to the server.

7. The communication system according to claim 5 , wherein

the communication device is mounted on the electronic device.

8. The communication system according to claim 5 , wherein

the communication device is built in the electronic device.

9. The communication system according to claim 1 , wherein

the first hardware processor of the terminal further executes a selection part that, in response to a plurality of device identifiers being received by the identifier reception part, causes the user to select one of the device identifiers; and

the terminal instruction transmission part is configured to transmit the device identifier selected by the selection part to the server together with the instruction for the electronic device.

10. A terminal configured to communicate with a server, comprising:

a first hardware processor configured to execute:

a login part that logs in to the server;

an identifier reception part that receives from the server a device identifier being an identifier of an electronic device corresponding to a user who has logged in by the login part; and

a terminal instruction transmission part that transmits to the server the device identifier received by the identifier reception part and an instruction for the electronic device, wherein the server transmits the instruction received from the terminal instruction transmission part to the electronic device corresponding to the device identifier received from the terminal instruction transmission part, wherein

the electronic device is an electronic musical instrument; and

the electronic musical instrument is configured to acquire timbre data used for sound production by the electronic musical instrument from the server in response to the instruction from the user.

11. The terminal according to claim 10 , wherein

the first hardware processor further executes a selection part that, in response to a plurality of device identifiers being received by the identifier reception part, causes the user to select one of the device identifiers, wherein

the terminal instruction transmission part is configured to transmit the device identifier selected by the selection part to the server together with the instruction for the electronic device.

12. A server configured to communicate with an electronic device and a terminal, comprising:

a memory comprising an identifier storage part that stores a user identifier being an identifier of a user in association with a device identifier being an identifier of the electronic device corresponding to the user; and

a second hardware processor configured to execute:

an identifier transmission part that acquires from the identifier storage part the device identifier corresponding to the user identifier of the user of the terminal that has logged in and transmits the device identifier to the terminal that has logged in;

a first server instruction reception part that receives from the terminal the device identifier and an instruction for the electronic device; and

a server instruction transmission part that transmits the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part to the electronic device corresponding to the device identifier received by the first server instruction reception part, wherein

the electronic device is an electronic musical instrument; and

the electronic musical instrument is configured to acquire timbre data used for sound production by the electronic musical instrument from the server in response to the instruction from the user.

13. The server according to claim 12 , wherein

the second hardware processor further executes a server execution part that, in response to the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part requiring processing by the server, performing the processing according to the instruction, wherein

the server instruction transmission part is configured to transmit the instruction received by the first server instruction reception part and a processing result of the processing performed by the server execution part to the electronic device corresponding to the device identifier received by the first server instruction reception part.

14. The server according to claim 12 , wherein

the second hardware processor further executes:

a second server instruction reception part that receives a second instruction from the electronic device; and

a server execution part that performs processing according to the second instruction received by the second server instruction reception part, wherein

the server instruction transmission part is configured to transmit to the electronic device a processing result of the processing performed by the server execution part according to the second instruction received by the second server instruction reception part.

15. A communication method by a terminal, an electronic device and a server, comprising:

storing on the server a user identifier being an identifier of a user in association with a device identifier being an identifier of the electronic device corresponding to the user;

in the terminal, logging in to the server;

in the server, acquiring the device identifier corresponding to the user identifier of the terminal that has logged in and transmitting the device identifier to the terminal that has logged in;

in the terminal, transmitting to the server the transmitted device identifier and an instruction for the electronic device; and

in the server, transmitting the transmitted instruction to the electronic device corresponding to the transmitted device identifier, wherein

the electronic device is an electronic musical instrument; and

the electronic musical instrument is configured to acquire timbre data used for sound production by the electronic musical instrument from the server in response to the instruction from the user.

16. The communication method according to claim 15 , wherein

the electronic device executes processing according to the instruction received from the server.

17. The communication method according to claim 15 , further comprising:

in a communication device connected to the electronic device and configured to communicate with the server, receiving a second instruction or a processing result from the server, and transmitting the received second instruction or the processing result to the electronic device.

18. The communication method according to claim 17 , further comprising:

in the communication device, receiving a third instruction from the electronic device and transmitting the received third instruction to the server.
