Abstract

According to a present invention embodiment, a system for conducting communication sessions comprises one or more memories and at least one processor coupled to the one or more memories. The system receives a domain name that is provided by a first user to establish a communication session with a second user, wherein the domain name is associated with the second user. The system determines contact information of the second user for the communication session based on the domain name. The system provides the contact information of the second user to establish the communication session between communication devices of the first and second users. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for conducting communication sessions in substantially the same manner described above.

Claims (29)

1 . A method of conducting communication sessions comprising:

receiving, via at least one processor, a domain name that is provided by a first user in a telephone number field of a user interface to establish a communication session with a second user, wherein the domain name is associated with the second user;

determining, via the at least one processor, contact information of the second user for the communication session based on the domain name; and

providing, via the at least one processor, the contact information of the second user to establish the communication session between communication devices of the first and second users, wherein the contact information includes a telephone number, and wherein the communication session includes a telephone call.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the domain name is one of a blockchain domain name and a non-fungible token domain name.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein an association between the contact information and the domain name is stored on one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the contact information comprises verifying ownership of the domain name by the second user based on a wallet verification.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the contact information comprises obtaining an approval to provide the contact information based on signing a message in a wallet of the second user.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the approval is utilized for a subsequent communication session between the first and second users, and wherein the approval is stored in one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.

7 . A system for conducting communication sessions comprising:

one or more memories; and

at least one processor coupled to the one or more memories, the at least one processor configured to:

receive a domain name that is provided by a first user in a telephone number field of a user interface to establish a communication session with a second user, wherein the domain name is associated with the second user;

determine contact information of the second user for the communication session based on the domain name; and

provide the contact information of the second user to establish the communication session between communication devices of the first and second users, wherein the contact information includes a telephone number, and wherein the communication session includes a telephone call.

8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the domain name is one of a blockchain domain name and a non-fungible token domain name.

9 . The system of claim 7 , wherein an association between the contact information and the domain name is stored on one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.

10 . The system of claim 7 , wherein providing the contact information comprises verifying ownership of the domain name by the second user based on a wallet verification.

11 . The system of claim 7 , wherein providing the contact information comprises obtaining an approval to provide the contact information based on signing a message in a wallet of the second user.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the approval is utilized for a subsequent communication session between the first and second users, and wherein the approval is stored in one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.

13 . A computer program product for conducting communication sessions, the computer program product comprising one or more non-transitory computer readable media having instructions stored thereon, the instructions executable by at least one processor to cause the at least one processor to:

receive a domain name that is provided by a first user in a telephone number field of a user interface to establish a communication session with a second user, wherein the domain name is associated with the second user;

determine contact information of the second user for the communication session based on the domain name; and

provide the contact information of the second user to establish the communication session between communication devices of the first and second users, wherein the contact information includes a telephone number, and wherein the communication session includes a telephone call.

14 . The computer program product of claim 13 , wherein the domain name is one of a blockchain domain name and a non-fungible token domain name.

15 . The computer program product of claim 13 , wherein an association between the contact information and the domain name is stored on one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.

16 . The computer program product of claim 13 , wherein providing the contact information comprises verifying ownership of the domain name by the second user based on a wallet verification.

17 . The computer program product of claim 13 , wherein providing the contact information comprises obtaining an approval to provide the contact information based on signing a message in a wallet of the second user.

18 . The computer program product of claim 17 , wherein the approval is utilized for a subsequent communication session between the first and second users, and wherein the approval is stored in one or more of: a blockchain, and a database.
