Abstract

The present disclosure has a configuration in which a distributor who performs a separate distribution that is different from this live content, or a viewer who views this separate distribution can participate in a virtual space and express intent or participate in visual recognition through the commitment of a virtual item.

Claims (39)

1 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

store a first avatar information and a first virtual space of a first distributor broadcasting to a first at least one viewer and a second avatar information of a second distributor broadcasting from a second virtual space to a second at least one viewer;

accept, by the first distributor, a request from the second distributor for a common distribution;

distribute common distribution data to the first at least one viewer once the request is accepted;

receive, from one or more viewer terminals, a virtual item ( 1 ) which indicates support, compliment, and/or praise of content rendered based on the common distribution data and ( 2 ) which comprises item data and item motion information so that the virtual item is rendered and/or renderable within the first virtual space, and

resolving at least one interaction between the virtual item located at a first position within the virtual space and a further object located at a second position within the virtual space different from the first position, based on at least one of the item data and the item motion information,

wherein the common distribution data comprises the first avatar information, the first virtual space, the second avatar information, and the item motion information, and

wherein the first and second distributors are distinct from the first and second at least one viewers.

2 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein each of the first avatar information and the second avatar information includes at least one of motion data or appearance data related to an avatar.

3 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein the common distribution data is rendered at a viewer terminal of the first at least one viewer.

4 . The storage medium of claim 3 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to perform a pan of a virtual camera using the item motion information.

5 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein accepting the request further comprises:

transmitting the request for the common distribution to the first distributor; obtaining an authorization from the first distributor; and notifying the second distributor of the authorization.

6 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein the common distribution data comprises a rendering of the first virtual space seen from a perspective of an avatar of the first distributor, and a rendering of the first virtual space seen from a perspective of an avatar of the second distributor.

7 . The storage medium of claim 6 , wherein the common distribution data further comprises a rendering of the first virtual space seen from a perspective of a virtual camera.

8 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein the common distribution data is distributed to both the first and second at least one viewer once the request is accepted.

9 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein the virtual item is associated with at least one of a sound production, an oscillation production, and an animation production.

10 . The storage medium of claim 1 , wherein the virtual item is associated with a physics simulation between the virtual item and at least one of the virtual space, an avatar, and additional virtual items.

11 . The storage medium of claim 10 , where the at least one interaction is based on the physics simulation and comprises at least one motion imparted by the object to the further object.

12 . The storage medium of claim 11 , wherein the at least one motion is based on the item data, and comprises a blast function providing instantaneous motion to the further object.

13 . The storage medium of claim 11 , wherein the at least one motion is based on the item motion information, and comprises a collision interaction based on the virtual item pressing against the further object.

14 . A method for distributing content by a content distribution server for performing a common distribution, comprising:

accepting, by a first distributor, a request from the second distributor for the common distribution,

storing a first avatar information and a first virtual space of the first distributor broadcasting to a first at least one viewer and a second avatar information of the second distributor broadcasting from a second virtual space to a second at least one viewer,

distributing common distribution data to the first at least one viewer once the request is accepted; and

receiving, from one or more viewer terminals, a virtual item ( 1 ) which indicates support, compliment, and/or praise of content rendered based on the common distribution data and ( 2 ) which comprises item data and item motion information so that the virtual item is rendered and/or renderable within the first virtual space, and

resolving at least one interaction between the virtual item located at a first position within the virtual space and a further object located at a second position within the virtual space different from the first position, based on at least one of the item data and the item motion information,

wherein the common distribution data comprises the first avatar information, the first virtual space, the second avatar information, and the item motion information, and

wherein the first and second distributors are distinct from the first and second at least one viewers.

15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the common distribution data is distributed to both the first and second at least one viewer once the request is accepted.

16 . A content distribution server comprising a processor for executing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

facilitate acceptance, by a first distributor, of a request from a second distributor for a common distribution,

store a first avatar information and a first virtual space of the first distributor broadcasting to a first at least one viewer and a second avatar information of the second distributor broadcasting from a second virtual space to a second at least one viewer, and

distribute common distribution data to the first at least one viewer once the request is accepted; and

receive, from one or more viewer terminals, a virtual item ( 1 ) which indicates support, compliment, and/or praise of content rendered based on the common distribution data and ( 2 ) which comprises item data and item motion information so that the virtual item is rendered and/or renderable within the first virtual space, and

resolving at least one interaction between the virtual item located at a first position within the virtual space and a further object located at a second position within the virtual space different from the first position, based on at least one of the item data and the item motion information,

wherein the common distribution data comprises the first avatar information, the first virtual space, the second avatar information, and the item motion information, and

wherein the first and second distributors are distinct from the first and second at least one viewers.

17 . The content distribution server of claim 16 , wherein the common distribution data is distributed to both the first and second at least one viewer once the request is accepted.
