Intra prediction method and device
The present invention relates to an intra prediction method and apparatus. The image decoding method according to the present invention may comprise decoding information on intra prediction; and generating a prediction block by performing intra prediction for a current block based on the information on intra prediction. The information on intra prediction may include information on an intra prediction mode, and the intra prediction mode may include a curved intra prediction mode.
1 . An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, the method comprising:
obtaining information on intra prediction including selection information from a bitstream;
deriving an intra prediction mode of a current block;
selecting one of multiple reference lines for the intra prediction;
deriving reference samples for the intra prediction based on the selected reference line; and
generating a predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples,
wherein the one of multiple reference lines where the reference samples for the intra prediction are located in is selected based on the selection information,
wherein for deriving the predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples, a filtering on the reference samples is performed based on a distance variable and a threshold value,
wherein the distance variable is determined based on the intra prediction mode, and the threshold value is determined based on a size of the current block, and
wherein for determining the threshold value based on the size of the current block,
a first threshold value is set for a 4×4 block, a second threshold value is set for an 8×8 block, a third threshold value is set for a 16×16 block, a fourth threshold value is set for a 32×32 block, and a fifth threshold value is set for a 64×64 block, and
the second threshold value for the 8×8 block is smaller than the first threshold value for the 4×4 block, the third threshold value for the 16×16 block is smaller than the second threshold value for the 8×8 block, the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block is smaller than the third threshold value for the 16×16 block, and the fifth threshold value for the 64×64 block is not smaller than the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the selection information is signaled in a unit of a coding unit.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein for the current block which is a non-square block, the one of multiple reference lines is selected based on the selection information.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein for the current block of which intra prediction mode is a non-directional prediction mode, the one of multiple reference lines is selected based on the selection information, wherein the non-directional prediction mode includes a DC mode.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the selection information is based on a truncated rice binarization.
6 . An image encoding method performed by an encoding apparatus, the method comprising:
determining an intra prediction mode of a current block;
selecting one of multiple reference lines for intra prediction;
deriving reference samples for the intra prediction based on the selected reference line;
generating a predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples;
generating information on the intra prediction including selection information; and
encoding image information including the information on the intra prediction,
wherein the one of multiple reference lines where the reference samples for the intra prediction are located in is represented based on the selection information,
wherein for deriving the predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples, a filtering on the reference samples is performed based on a distance variable and a threshold value,
wherein the distance variable is determined based on the intra prediction mode, and the threshold value is determined based on a size of the current block, and
wherein for determining the threshold value based on the size of the current block,
a first threshold value is set for a 4×4 block, a second threshold value is set for an 8×8 block, a third threshold value is set for a 16×16 block, a fourth threshold value is set for a 32×32 block, and a fifth threshold value is set for a 64×64 block, and
the second threshold value for the 8×8 block is smaller than the first threshold value for the 4×4 block, the third threshold value for the 16×16 block is smaller than the second threshold value for the 8×8 block, the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block is smaller than the third threshold value for the 16×16 block, and the fifth threshold value for the 64×64 block is not smaller than the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the selection information is signaled in a unit of a coding unit.
8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein for the current block which is a non-square block, the one of multiple reference lines is represented based on the selection information.
9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein for the current block of which intra prediction mode is a non-directional prediction mode, the one of multiple reference lines is represented based on the selection information, wherein the non-directional prediction mode includes a DC mode.
10 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the selection information is based on a truncated rice binarization.
11 . A transmission method for image data, the method comprising:
obtaining a bitstream of encoded image information generated based on an image encoding method, wherein the image encoding method comprises determining an intra prediction mode of a current block, selecting one of multiple reference lines for intra prediction, deriving reference samples for the intra prediction based on the selected reference line, generating a predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples, generating information on the intra prediction including selection information, and encoding image information including the information on the intra prediction; and
transmitting the image data comprising the bitstream,
wherein the one of multiple reference lines where the reference samples for the intra prediction are located in is represented based on the selection information,
wherein for deriving the predicted block based on the intra prediction mode and the reference samples, a filtering on the reference samples is performed based on a distance variable and a threshold value,
wherein the distance variable is determined based on the intra prediction mode, and the threshold value is determined based on a size of the current block, and
wherein for determining the threshold value based on the size of the current block,
a first threshold value is set for a 4×4 block, a second threshold value is set for an 8×8 block, a third threshold value is set for a 16×16 block, a fourth threshold value is set for a 32×32 block, and a fifth threshold value is set for a 64×64 block, and
the second threshold value for the 8×8 block is smaller than the first threshold value for the 4×4 block, the third threshold value for the 16×16 block is smaller than the second threshold value for the 8×8 block, the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block is smaller than the third threshold value for the 16×16 block, and the fifth threshold value for the 64×64 block is not smaller than the fourth threshold value for the 32×32 block.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the selection information is signaled in a unit of a coding unit.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein for the current block which is a non-square block, the one of multiple reference lines is represented based on the selection information.
14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein for the current block of which intra prediction mode is a non-directional prediction mode, the one of multiple reference lines is selected based on the selection information, wherein the non-directional prediction mode includes a DC mode.
15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the selection information is based on a truncated rice binarization.
