Abstract

An electric machine for an electric drive train in a motor vehicle including a rotor that is rotatably mounted relative to a stator, the rotor having a rotor shaft with at least one first rotor member which is non-slidably arranged on the rotor shaft for conjoint rotation therewith, the stator having a first stator member and a second stator member which are spaced apart from one another; the first stator member has a first stator winding, and the second stator member has a second stator winding, the first stator winding being arranged within a first hydraulic chamber, and the second stator winding being arranged within a second hydraulic chamber, at least part of the stator windings being able to come into contact with a hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic chambers. The electric machine further including a hydraulic connection element which hydraulically connects the first hydraulic chamber to the second hydraulic chamber; at least one electric conductor of the first stator winding and/or of the second stator winding is arranged within the hydraulic connection element.

Claims (36)

1 . An electric machine for an electric drive train in a motor vehicle, the electric machine comprising: a rotor rotatably mounted relative to a stator, the rotor having a rotor shaft with at least one first rotor member non-slidably arranged on the rotor shaft for conjoint rotation therewith, the stator having a first stator member and a second stator member spaced apart from one another, and the first stator member has a first stator winding, and the second stator member has a second stator winding, the first stator winding being arranged within a first hydraulic chamber, and the second stator winding being arranged within a second hydraulic chamber, at least part of the first and second stator windings being able to come into contact with a hydraulic fluid in the respective first and second hydraulic chambers,

wherein

the electric machine includes a hydraulic connection element which hydraulically connects the first hydraulic chamber to the second hydraulic chamber, wherein at least one of an electric conductor of the first stator winding or an electric conductor of the second stator winding is arranged within the hydraulic connection element.

2 . The electric machine according to claim 1 ,

wherein

the electric machine is configured as an axial flux machine, wherein the rotor is rotatably mounted in a dry chamber relative to the stator, wherein the first rotor member is a disk-shaped rotor member which is non-slidably arranged on the rotor shaft for conjoint rotation therewith, wherein the first stator member is an annular disk-shaped stator member and the second stator member is an annular disk-shaped stator member, which are arranged coaxially with one another and with the rotor shaft and are spaced apart from one another axially with the rotor being arranged therebetween.

3 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

the hydraulic connection element is formed from an electrically non-conductive material.

4 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

the hydraulic connection element has a cylindrical, annular, three-dimensional shape.

5 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

the hydraulic connection element is positioned radially above at least one of the first stator member or the second stator member.

6 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

the hydraulic connection element has a first seal which seals the first hydraulic chamber from a dry chamber of the rotor or the hydraulic connection element has a second seal, which seals the second hydraulic chamber from the dry chamber of the rotor.

7 . The electric machine ( 1 ) according to claim 6 ,

wherein

the first seal or the second seal is integral with the hydraulic connection element.

8 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

the hydraulic connection element is press fit to a first housing component that surrounds the first hydraulic chamber, at least in sections, or the hydraulic connection element is press fit to a second housing component that surrounds the second hydraulic chamber, at least in sections.

9 . The electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein

a plurality of hydraulic connection elements are distributed circumferentially between the first hydraulic chamber and the second hydraulic chamber.

10 . The electric machine according to claim 9 , wherein

the hydraulic connection elements are identical.

11 . A method of assembling an electric machine for an electric drive train in a motor vehicle, the method comprising:

supporting a rotor for rotation relative to a stator, the rotor having a rotor shaft with at least one first rotor member non-slidably arranged on the rotor shaft for conjoint rotation therewith, the stator having a first stator member and a second stator member spaced apart from one another, and the first stator member has a first stator winding, and the second stator member has a second stator winding, the first stator winding being arranged within a first hydraulic chamber, and the second stator winding being arranged within a second hydraulic chamber, at least part of the first and second stator windings being able to come into contact with a hydraulic fluid in the respective first and second hydraulic chambers; and

hydraulically connecting the first hydraulic chamber to the second hydraulic chamber with a hydraulic connection element;

wherein at least one of an electric conductor of the first stator winding or an electric conductor of the second stator winding is arranged within the hydraulic connection element.

12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the electric machine is configured as an axial flux machine wherein the rotor is rotatably mounted in a dry chamber relative to the stator, wherein the first rotor member is a disk-shaped rotor member which is non-slidably arranged on the rotor shaft for conjoint rotation therewith, wherein the first stator member is an annular disk-shaped stator member and the second stator member is an annular disk-shaped stator member, which are arranged coaxially with one another and with the rotor shaft and are spaced apart from one another axially with the rotor being arranged therebetween.

13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the hydraulic connection element is formed from an electrically non-conductive material.

14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the hydraulic connection element has a cylindrical, annular, three-dimensional shape.

15 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the hydraulic connection element is positioned radially above at least one of the first stator member or the second stator member.

16 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the hydraulic connection element has a first seal which seals the first hydraulic chamber from a dry chamber of the rotor or the hydraulic connection element has a second seal, which seals the second hydraulic chamber from the dry chamber of the rotor.

17 . The method according to claim 16 , wherein the first seal or the second seal is integral with the hydraulic connection element.
