Abstract

A direction in which a wire harness (W) passes inside a grommet ( 10 ) according to one aspect of the present disclosure is defined as an insertion direction (D). The grommet ( 10 ) includes: a first member ( 11 ) that includes a seal portion ( 36 ) configured to come into contact with a vehicle body panel (P); a second member ( 12 ) that is attached to one side of the first member ( 11 ) in the insertion direction (D), and includes a second tubular portion ( 43 ) into which the wire harness (W) is inserted; and a third member ( 13 ) that is attached to the other side of the first member ( 11 ) in the insertion direction (D), and includes a third tubular portion ( 52 ) into which the wire harness (W) is inserted.

Claims (25)

1 . A grommet

comprising:

a first member that includes a first tubular portion into which a wire harness is inserted, and a base portion that includes a seal portion configured to come into contact with a panel having an attachment hole to which the grommet is to be attached and through which the wire harness passes in an insertion direction;

a second member that is attached to one side of the first member in the insertion direction, and includes a second tubular portion into which the wire harness is inserted; and

a third member that is attached to the other side of the first member in the insertion direction, and includes a third tubular portion into which the wire harness is inserted,

wherein the first member further includes a first coupling portion that couples the first tubular portion and the base portion to each other,

the second member further includes a first fixing portion that is fixed to the base portion, and a second coupling portion that couples the first fixing portion and the second tubular portion to each other, and

the third member further includes a second fixing portion that is fixed to the base portion, and a third coupling portion that couples the second fixing portion and the third tubular portion to each other.

2 . The grommet according to claim 1 ,

wherein the first member and the second member provide a first sound insulation space therebetween, and

the first member and the third member provide a second sound insulation space therebetween.

3 . The grommet according to claim 1 ,

wherein the first coupling portion, the second coupling portion, and the third coupling portion are arranged so as to be spaced apart from each other in the insertion direction,

the first coupling portion is positioned between the second coupling portion and the third coupling portion,

the first sound insulation space is formed between the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion, and

the second sound insulation space is formed between the first coupling portion and the third coupling portion.

4 . The grommet according to claim 1 ,

wherein at least one of the first coupling portion, the second coupling portion, and the third coupling portion includes a flexible portion that is configured to bend so as to absorb an inclination of the wire harness with respect to the panel.

5 . The grommet according to claim 1 ,

wherein the second member includes a covering portion configured to cover an insertion hole of a sound insulation member provided on one side surface of the panel.

6 . A grommet comprising:

a first member that includes a seal portion configured to come into contact with a panel having an attachment hole to which the grommet is to be attached and through which a wire harness passes in an insertion direction;

a second member that is attached to one side of the first member in the insertion direction, and includes a tubular portion into which the wire harness is inserted; and

a third member that is attached to the other side of the first member in the insertion direction, and includes a tubular portion into which the wire harness is inserted,

wherein the second member includes a covering portion configured to cover an insertion hole of a sound insulation member provided on one side surface of the panel.
