Abstract

Inducing tolerance in a primate by use of a compound, or a combination of at least two compounds, that has certain characteristics when tested in vitro. The compound, alone or in combination, is preferably TRX1 antibody and the compound or combination is preferably used in accordance with a specified dosing regimen.

Claims (17)

1. An isolated anti-CD4 antibody which comprises the light chain CDR sequences of FIG. 4C (SEQ ID NO: 57) and the heavy chain CDR sequences of FIG. 4F (SEQ ID NO: 60).

2. An anti-CD4 antibody which comprises the light chain variable region sequence of FIG. 4C (SEQ ID NO: 57) and the heavy chain CDR sequences of FIG. 4F (SEQ ID NO: 60).

3. An anti-CD4 antibody which comprises the light chain CDR sequences of FIG. 4C (SEQ ID NO: 57) and the heavy chain variable region sequence of FIG. 4F (SEQ ID NO: 60).

4. An anti-CD4 antibody which comprises the light chain variable region sequence of FIG. 4C (SEQ ID NO: 57) and the heavy chain variable region sequence of FIG. 4F (SEQ ID NO: 60).

5. The anti-CD4 antibody of claim 1 , wherein the anti-CD4 antibody comprises an Fc region that is aglycosylated.

6. The anti-CD4 antibody of claim 4 , wherein the anti-CD4 antibody comprises an Fc region that is aglycosylated.

7. The anti-CD4 antibody of claim 4 , wherein the anti-CD4 antibody comprises a constant region that does not comprise a glycosylation site.

8. The anti-CD4 antibody of claim 1 wherein the antibody is a humanized antibody.
