Abstract

Fluorogenic or chromogenic dyes are useful as reporter molecules for detecting cell entry by a specific molecule.

Claims (6)

1. A library of compounds that is to be screened for their ability to be internalized by a desired cell, the library comprising a plurality of different compounds, wherein the different compounds in such library are covalently attached to a fluorogenic reporter molecule that becomes fluorescent after it is internalized by a cell, and wherein the reporter molecule is selected from the group consisting of:
