Abstract

The application discloses novel internal structures of energy conditioners, assemblies of external structures of energy conditioners and mounting structure, and novel circuits including energy conditioners having A, B, and G master electrodes.

Claims (23)

1. An energy conditioning structure with stacked, overlapping conductive layers:

wherein said energy conditioning structure comprises a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of conductive material layers;

wherein each dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers has a first dielectric surface including a left side surface edge, a right side surface edge, an upper side surface edge, and a lower side surface edge;

wherein a first conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers is located upon a first dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers, and wherein said first conductive material layer comprises a first electrode residing in a first position upon said first dielectric layer, and wherein said first conductive material layer further comprises a second electrode residing in a second position upon said first dielectric layer, and wherein said first electrode of said first conductive material layer further comprises at least one first electrode tab and a first electrode main body portion, and wherein said second electrode of said first conductive material layer further comprises at least one second electrode tab and a second electrode main body portion;

wherein said first electrode of said first conductive material layer is electrically isolated from said second electrode of said first conductive material layer;

wherein said first position of said first electrode of said first conductive material layer includes said first electrode main body portion of said first conductive material layer not extending to any one of said left side surface edge, said right side surface edge, said upper side surface edge, and said lower side surface edge, and said first electrode tab of said first conductive material layer extending to at least a portion of said left side surface edge and not extending to said right side surface edge;

wherein said second position of said second electrode of said first conductive material layer includes said second electrode main body portion of said first conductive layer not extending to any one of said left side surface edge, said right side surface edge, said upper side surface edge, and said lower side surface edge, and said second electrode tab of said first conductive material layer extending to at least a portion of said right side surface edge and not extending to said left side surface edge;

wherein a second conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers is located upon a second dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers, and wherein said second conductive material layer comprises a single electrode residing in a position upon said second dielectric layer, and wherein said single electrode further comprises at least two electrode tabs and an electrode main body portion;

wherein a third conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers is located upon a third dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers, and wherein said third conductive material layer comprises a first electrode residing in a first position upon said third dielectric layer, and wherein said third conductive material layer further comprises a second electrode residing in a second position upon said third dielectric layer, and wherein said first electrode of said third conductive material layer further comprises at least one first electrode tab and a first electrode main body portion, and wherein said second electrode of said third conductive material layer further comprises at least one second electrode tab and a second electrode main body portion;

wherein said first electrode of said third conductive material layer is electrically isolated from said second electrode of said third conductive material layer;

wherein said first position of said first electrode of said third conductive material layer includes said first electrode main body portion of said third conductive material layer not extending to any one of said left side surface edge, said right side surface edge, said upper side surface edge, and said lower side surface edge, and said first electrode tab of said third conductive material layer extending to at least a portion of said left side surface edge and not extending to said right side surface edge;

wherein said second position of said second electrode of said third conductive material layer includes said second electrode main body portion of said third conductive layer not extending to any one of said left side surface edge, said right side surface edge, said upper side surface edge, and said lower side surface edge, and said second electrode tab of said third conductive material layer extending to at least a portion of said right side surface edge and not extending to said left side surface edge;

wherein said single electrode of said second conductive material layer is electrically isolated from said first and second electrodes of said first conductive material layer, and wherein said single electrode is electrically isolated from said first and second electrodes of said third conductive material layer;

wherein each aforementioned dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers are stacked in the following sequence:

said first dielectric layer;

said second dielectric layer stacked upon said first conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers and a portion of said first surface of said first dielectric layer;

said third dielectric layer stacked upon said second conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers and a portion of said first surface of said second dielectric layer;

a fourth dielectric layer of said plurality of dielectric layers stacked upon said third conductive material layer of said plurality of conductive material layers and a portion of said first surface of said third dielectric layer;

wherein said single electrode of said second conductive material layer is electrically isolated from said first and second electrodes of said first conductive material layer, and wherein said single electrode is electrically isolated from said first and second electrodes of said third conductive material layer;

wherein said main body portion of said second electrode completely shields said first electrode main body portion and said second electrode main body portion of said first conductive material layer from said first electrode main body portion and said second electrode main body portion of said third conductive material layer;

wherein said first electrode tab of said first conductive material layer overlaps said first electrode tab of said third conductive material layer, and wherein said second electrode tab of said first conductive material layer overlaps said second electrode tab of said third conductive material layer;

wherein said first electrode tab of said first conductive material layer and said first electrode tab of said third conductive material layer are conductively coupled to one another, and wherein said second electrode tab of said first conductive material layer and said second electrode tab of said third conductive material layer are conductively coupled to one another; and

wherein said first electrode main body portion of said first conductive material layer is aligned and overlaps said second electrode main body portion of said third conductive material layer, and wherein said second electrode main body portion of said first conductive material layer is aligned and overlaps said first electrode main body portion of said third conductive material layer.
