Abstract

The apparatus comprises at least one database for storing digital information associated with at least a first user and a second user, at least one links module for the first user and for the second user, at least one manipulations module and at least one display device for respectively displaying at least said linked digital information wherein said linked digital information associated with said first user is automatically updated on at least said display device of said second user when that information is manipulated, and wherein said linked digital information associated with said second user is automatically updated on at least said display device of said first user when that information is manipulated.

Claims (46)

1. An apparatus, comprising:

means for communicating the digital information with at least a first server and a second server external to the apparatus, the first server configured to host a web site of a first user, the second server configured to host a web site of a second user;

means for linking at least a portion of the digital information associated with the second user to the website of the first user,

the means for linking including linking at least a portion of the digital information associated with the first user to the website of the second user;

means for receiving input from the first user and the second user for manipulating the digital information;

means for updating automatically on the website of the second user the digital information associated with the first user when the digital information associated with the first user is manipulated,

the means for updating including updating automatically on the website of the first user the digital information associated with the second user when the digital information associated with the second user is manipulated;

means for creating at least one form;

means for auto-populating digital information from the database into the at least one form; and

means for notifying automatically the second user that the at least one form was created,

the means for notifying further including notifying automatically the first user when the second user manipulates the at least one form,

the means for notifying automatically the second user whether the at least one submitted form was properly completed.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the digital information is manipulated with at least one of a computer work station, a personal digital assistant, a cellular telephone, or a global positioning system.

3. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:

means for determining automatically whether the at least one submitted form was properly completed.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first user determines whether the at least one submitted form was properly completed.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the means for notifying the first user and the means for notifying the second user notifies the first user and the second user via at least one of a computer work station, a personal digital assistant, a facsimile machine, a cellular telephone, or a GPS system.

6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the means for communicating with the first external server and the second external server includes communicating with the first external server and the second external server via an authenticated file transfer protocol relationship between at least one gateway server, the first server and the second server.

7. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:

means for fetching, analyzing, and tracking data on at least a third website external to the apparatus.

8. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein at least a portion of the data on the third website is linked to the website of the first user, the apparatus further comprising:

means for updating automatically on the website of the first user the linked data when the linked data has changed on the third external website.

9. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein at least a portion of the data on the third website is linked to the website of the first user, the linked data being stored on the database, the apparatus further comprising:

means for updating automatically the linked data on the database when the means for tracking tracks that the linked data has changed on the third external website.

10. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the means for notifying the first user includes notifying the first user via at least one of a computer work station, a personal digital assistant, a facsimile machine, a cellular telephone, or a global positioning system that the second user manipulated at least a portion of the digital information in at least one database.

11. An apparatus, comprising:

means for storing digital information associated with a first user and digital information associated with a second user;

means for linking digital information associated with the first user to at least a portion of the digital information associated with the second user to produce a first user linked digital information,

the means for linking including linking digital information associated with the second user to at least a portion of the digital information associated with the first user to produce a second user linked digital information;

means for displaying the first user linked digital information and the second user linked digital information; and

means for updating automatically at least a portion of the first user linked digital information and the second user linked digital information on the display device when the portion of the first user linked digital information and the second user linked digital information is manipulated.

12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the means for displaying includes displaying via at least one of a computer work station, personal digital assistant, facsimile machine, cellular telephone, or GPS system.

13. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the means for linking includes means for linking the at least the portion of the digital information associated with the second user to at least one of a database, a server, a content management system, an API of a web-hosted service, or a website associated with the first user.

14. An apparatus, comprising:

means for identifying content published by a second party within a computer network and associated with content published by a first party within the computer network;

means for selecting a portion of content from the content published by the second party based at least in part on a keyword associated with at least one of the first party or the second party; and

means for quantifying a degree of presence within the computer network and associated with the portion of content based at least in part on the content published by the first party.

15. The apparatus of claim 14 , further comprising:

means for quantifying an influence value associated with at least one of the first party or the second party based at least in part on the degree of presence.

16. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein:

the degree of presence is based at least in part on a comparison of the content published by the first party and the content published by the second party.

17. The apparatus of claim 14 , further comprising:

means for detecting a topic from a plurality of predefined topics based at least in part on at least one of the content published by the first party or the content published by the second party; and

means for quantifying a relevance value based at least in part on the topic and at least in part on the content published by the second party, the relevance value being associated with the second party.
