BLOCKCHAIN-ENABLED CONTACT CENTER
Disclosed is a contact center that stores data related to a consumer in a blockchain. More specifically, disclosed is a methodology for conducting and concluding a communication with the consumer; creating a record of the communication; encrypting the record of the communication with asymmetric cryptography; and updating the blockchain with the record of the communication.
1 . A method for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the method comprising:
conducting and concluding a communication with the consumer;
creating a record of the communication;
encrypting the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography; and
updating the blockchain with the record of the communication.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical services provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the consumer is a medical insurance provider and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
8 . A system for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the system comprising:
a memory;
a processor operatively coupled to the memory for:
conducting and concluding a communication with the consumer;
creating a record of the communication;
encrypting the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography; and
updating the blockchain with the record of the communication.
9 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that wherein the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical services provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
10 . The method of claim 8 , further configured such that the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
11 . The method of claim 8 , further configured such that the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
12 . The method of claim 8 , further configured such that the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
13 . The method of claim 8 , further configured such that the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
14 . The method of claim 8 , further configured such that the consumer is a medical insurance provider and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
15 . A computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-readable instructions for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the computer-readable instructions comprising instructions that cause a processor to:
conduct and conclude a communication with the consumer;
create a record of the communication;
encrypt the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography; and
update the blockchain with the record of the communication.
16 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical services provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the consumer is a patient and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a medical insurance provider, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the consumer is a medical service provider and the contact center is associated with a pharmacy, and the updated blockchain is HIPPA compliant.
