Abstract

A head-mounted display comprises: a wearing body; a display; a communication module configured to perform communication connection with a mobile information terminal; a field of view (FOV) sensor configured to output status data used for determining whether the mobile information terminal is included in a user's FOV through the wearing body; and a controller connected to each of the display, the communication module, and the FOV detection sensor. The controller determines whether the mobile information terminal is included in the user's FOV based on the status data, and performs display control with respect to the display so as to display an application screen of the mobile information terminal on the display when determining that the mobile information terminal is not included in the FOV, and not to display the application screen on the display when determining that the mobile information terminal is included in the FOV.

Claims (66)

1 . A display device comprising:

a display;

a camera;

a communication module configured to perform communication connection with a mobile information terminal; and

a processing circuit,

wherein the display device stores an application software which is same as a software stored in the mobile information terminal,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to:

in response to determining that the mobile information terminal is not included in an image taken by the camera, display a display screen of the mobile information terminal on the display by using the image,

in response to determining that the mobile information terminal is not included in the image,

synchronize the application software stored in the display device with the software stored in the mobile information terminal, and

display screen data acquired by executing the synchronized application software, and

terminate displaying the screen data on the display in response to that the communication module receives a notification indicating a termination of the execution of the software stored in the mobile information terminal or a turning off of a power of the mobile information terminal.

2 . The display device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to:

store an image data of a mobile information terminal,

perform a pattern matching processing using the image data, and

determine whether the mobile information terminal is included in the image taken by the camera.

3 . The display device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a line of sight detection sensor configured to detect a line of sight of a user of the display device,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to control so as to display the screen data at a position where the line of sight detected by the line of sight detection sensor interacts the display.

4 . The display device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to control so as to release the communication connection with the mobile information terminal when terminating a processing of displaying the screen data on the display.

5 . The display device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to display the screen data with a resolution in accordance with a display capability of the display.

6 . The display device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to display the screen data with a resolution in accordance with a using scene of the display device.

7 . The display device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to perform detailed display or simplified display of the screen data.

8 . The display device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a member to be worn on a user of the display device.

9 . A display device comprising:

a display;

a camera;

a communication module configured to perform communication connection with a mobile information terminal; and

a processing circuit,

wherein the display device stores an application software which is same as a software stored in the mobile information terminal,

wherein the display includes a first region and a second region, wherein the processing circuit is configured to:

display an image taken by the camera on the display,

display a display screen of the mobile information terminal on the display when the mobile information terminal is not included in the image,

terminate displaying the display screen on the display when the mobile information terminal is then included in the image,

resume displaying the display screen in the first region when the mobile information terminal frames out from the first region and is no longer included in the image, and

resume displaying the display screen in the second region when the mobile information terminal frames out from the second and is no longer included in the image.

10 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to:

synchronize the application software stored in the display device with the software stored in the mobile information terminal when the mobile information terminal is not included in the image, and

execute the synchronized application software.

11 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to:

store an image data of a mobile information terminal,

performs a pattern matching processing using the image data, and

determine whether the mobile information terminal is included in the image taken by the camera.

12 . The display device according to claim 9 , further comprising:

a line of sight detection sensor configured to detect a line of sight of a user of the display device,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to control so as to display the display screen at a position where the line of sight detected by the line of sight detection sensor interacts the display.

13 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to control so as to maintain the communication connection with the mobile information terminal when terminating a processing of displaying the display screen of the mobile information terminal on the display.

14 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to control so as to release the communication connection with the mobile information terminal when terminating a processing of displaying the display screen of the mobile information terminal on the display.

15 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to display the display screen with a resolution in accordance with a display capability of the display.

16 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to display the display screen with a resolution in accordance with a using scene of the display device.

17 . The display device according to claim 9 ,

wherein the processing circuit is configured to perform detailed display or simplified display of the display screen.

18 . The display device according to claim 9 , further comprising:

a member to be worn on a user of the display device.
