EQUIPMENT FOR AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR CHECKING THE PRESSURE OF THE TYRES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Abstract

The present invention relates to equipment (1) for an electronic system for checking the pressure of the tyres of a motor vehicle, said equipment (1) comprising a device (2) which comprises: - an activation module (31) for activating a pressure sensor housed inside a tyre; - a reception means (33) for receiving signals from the pressure sensors; - an electronic entity (35) configured for storing and/or processing the data carried by the signals emitted by the sensors; - a communication means (37) communicating with a remote electronic entity, such as the on-board computer of a motor vehicle, so as to transmit the data originating from the received signals; characterized in that said equipment (1) comprises an internal pressure sensor (18) and a connection means (20) for connection to a tyre valve, the connection means (20) being configured to connect the internal pressure sensor (18) to the valve of a tyre.
