Abstract
A method, system and computer program for preparing orders of goods stored in storage containers in an automated storage and retrieval system. Ordered goods are prepared and delivered to a pick-up point when the ordered goods can be picked up. This optimizes the use of storage capabilities of the automated storage and retrieval system and minimizes the need temporal storage space at a pick-up point.
