Abstract
The invention refers to a Gas filter system (10; 10'; 10'') comprising - a housing (12); - a first filter element (20) having a first filter medium (22); - a second filter element (30) having a second filter medium; the first and second filter elements (20, 30) being arranged inside the housing (12); the first and second filter media (22, 32) surrounding a common longitudinal axis (28); wherein a flexible sealing lip (38) protrudes, preferably in the axial direction, from the first filter medium (22); wherein the housing (12) has a first sealing surface (44) for sealing abutment against the sealing lip (38); wherein a rigid sealing rib protrudes from the second filter element (30), the sealing rib (46) having a second sealing surface (50) for sealing abutment against the sealing lip (38); and wherein the sealing lip (38) is compressed between the first sealing surface (44) and the second sealing surface (50).
