The distal and proximal apex capture devices include a first distal capture portion and a second distal capture portion fixedly connected to the guidewire lumen and distal apex release lumen, respectively, and a first and second proximal capture portions, respectively. The first proximal capture portion is fixedly connected to the distal end of the apex release lumen and has fingers extending toward the first distal capture portion in a distal direction. The second proximal capture portion is fixedly connected to the distal end of the proximal apex release lumen and has fingers extending toward the second distal capture portion in a distal direction.

two removable intermediate parts, wherein one removable intermediate part is inserted removably between said distal release part and said intermediate disk and said other removable intermediate part is inserted removably between said intermediate disk and said proximal release part, wherein movement of said distal release part first and proximal release part with respect to one another causes a corresponding movement of said first distal capture portion and said first proximal capture portion with respect to one another to, thereby, release or capture the proximal apices inside said first stent apex cavity.

4. The delivery system according to claim 3 , wherein:

a separating movement of said distal release part and proximal release part causes a corresponding movement of said first distal capture portion and said first proximal capture portion with respect to one another to, thereby, substantially close said first interior cavity of said fingers of said first proximal capture portion; and

an adjoining movement of said first release part and second release part causes a corresponding movement of said first distal capture portion and said first proximal capture portion with respect to one another to, thereby, open said first interior cavity of said fingers of said first proximal capture portion.

5. The delivery system according to claim 3 , wherein:

a separating movement of said distal release part and said proximal release part causes a corresponding movement of said first distal and said first proximal capture portions with respect to one another to, thereby, capture the proximal apices; and

an adjoining movement of said first release part and second release part causes a corresponding movement of said first distal capture portion and said first proximal capture portions with respect to one another to, thereby, release the proximal apices.

6. The delivery system according to claim 1 , wherein:

said proximal end of said second distal portion and said second proximal stopper define a second stent apex cavity; and
