a protective housing member operative shaped and sized to bound the handheld electronic device and enable wrapping around the handheld electronic device;

at least one accessory station structured on the protective housing member to arrest and dispense an accessory item;

at least one storage chamber structured on the protective housing member;

wherein the protective housing member comprises a first housing part and a second housing part which combine to form one protective housing member;

wherein the first housing part is an independent module comprising at least one component of said at least one accessory station and is removably detachable from the protective housing member;

wherein said at least one accessory station is a charging station configured to provide electrical power to or charge the accessory item; wherein the charging station is configured to connect to at least one power source; and wherein the accessory item stored within the charging station comprises at least one battery; and

wherein said at least one power source is a supplemental battery housed within said at least one storage chamber to charge at least one of the handheld electronic device and the accessory item stored within the charging station.

2. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein the first housing part comprises said at least one storage chamber; wherein the second housing part is operably secured to the handheld electronic device; and wherein the first housing part is removable so that the second housing part is usable as a stand-alone protective housing for the handheld electronic device.

3. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein said at least one accessory station comprises at least one aperature; and wherein the protective housing member comprises a door or lid mounted proximate to said at least one accessory station and configured to cover said at least one aperture of said at least one accessory station.

4. The retractable storage system of claim 3 , further comprising a hinge, slot or compartment structured on the protective housing member to store or operate the door or lid.

5. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , further comprising at least one cable with a plug head and an end piece.

6. The retractable storage system of claim 5 , further comprising at least one retractable mechanism mounted inside said at least one storage chamber to retract and store said at least one cable.

7. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein the first housing part is configured to provide interchangeability of the accessory item.

8. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein said at least one power source is a battery of the handheld electronic device.

9. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein the accessory item is at least one of a wireless earbud and battery.

10. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , further comprising a door or lid mounted proximate to said at least one accessory station; and wherein the door or lid is closeable to cover the accessory item stored within said at least one accessory station.

11. The retractable storage system of claim 1 , wherein said at least one accessory station comprises a first securing element to secure the accessory item.

12. The retractable storage system of claim 11 , wherein the accessory item comprises a second securing element, which is compatible with the first securing element.

13. The retractable storage system of claim 12 , wherein one of the first and second securing elements comprises an edge, and the other securing element comprises a groove which slides and locks into the edge.

14. A retractable storage system for a handheld electronic device, comprising:

a protective housing member operative shaped and sized to bound the handheld electronic device and enable wrapping around the handheld electronic device;

at least one accessory station structured on the protective housing member to arrest and dispense an accessory item;

at least one storage chamber structured on the protective housing member;

wherein the protective housing member comprises a first housing part and a second housing part which combine to form one protective housing member;

wherein the first housing part is an independent module comprising at least one component of said at least one accessory station and is removably detachable from the protective housing member;

wherein said at least one accessory station comprises a first securing element to secure the accessory item;

wherein the accessory item comprises a second securing element, which is compatible with the first securing element; and

wherein one of the first and second securing elements comprises an edge, and the other securing element comprises a groove which slides and locks into the edge.

15. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , wherein the first housing part comprises said at least one storage chamber; wherein the second housing part is operably secured to the handheld electronic device; and wherein the first housing part is removable so that the second housing part is usable as a stand-alone protective housing for the handheld electronic device.

16. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , wherein said at least one accessory station comprises at least one aperature; and wherein the protective housing member comprises a door or lid mounted proximate to said at least one accessory station and configured to cover said at least one aperture of said at least one accessory station.

17. The retractable storage system of claim 16 , further comprising a hinge, slot or compartment structured on the protective housing member to store or operate the door or lid.

18. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , further comprising at least one cable with a plug head and an end piece.

19. The retractable storage system of claim 18 , further comprising at least one retractable mechanism mounted inside said at least one storage chamber to retract and store said at least one cable.

20. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , wherein the first housing part is configured to provide interchangeability of the accessory item.

21. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , wherein the accessory item is at least one of a wireless earbud and battery.

22. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , further comprising a door or lid mounted proximate to said at least one accessory station; and wherein the door or lid is closeable to cover the accessory item stored within said at least one accessory station.

23. The retractable storage system of claim 14 , wherein said at least one accessory station comprises a first securing element to secure the accessory item.
