Compound and organic light-emitting device including the same
When a decrease in low-grey level region (e.g., 0 to 80 grey) efficiencies of organic light emitting devices is not constant, deviation among display panels may cause color change and stain in the low luminance region. Aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward a compound to overcome this problem and an organic light-emitting device including the same. The compound may be represented by Formula 1: Organic light-emitting devices including this compound in the buffer layer were found to have improved efficiencies at low grey levels.
1. An organic light-emitting device comprising:
a first electrode, the first electrode being an anode;
a second electrode facing the first electrode, the second electrode being a cathode; and
an organic layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, the organic layer comprising an emission layer, a hole transport region between the first electrode and the emission layer, and an electron transport region between the emission layer and the second electrode,
the hole transport region comprising at least one selected from a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, and an electron blocking layer, and
the electron transport region comprising a buffer layer and at least one selected from an electron transport layer and an electron injection layer,
wherein the buffer layer comprises a compound represented by Formula 1:

R 1 to R 3 are each independently selected from hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 2 -C 60 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 2 -C 60 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 60 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 3 -C 10 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 2 -C 10 heterocycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 3 -C 10 cycloalkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 2 -C 10 heterocycloalkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 6 -C 60 aryloxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 6 -C 60 arylthio group, and a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent non-aromatic condensed polycyclic group,

I is an integer selected from 1 to 4,
m is an integer selected from 0 to 3,
n is an integer selected from 1 to 6,
o is an integer selected from 1 to 4, and
at least one substituent of the substituted C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, substituted C 2 -C 60 alkenyl group, substituted C 2 -C 60 alkynyl group, substituted C 1 -C 60 alkoxy group, substituted C 3 -C 10 cycloalkyl group, substituted C 2 -C 10 heterocycloalkyl group, substituted C 3 -C 10 cycloalkenyl group, substituted C 2 C 10 heterocycloalkenyl group, substituted C 6 -C 60 aryl group, substituted C 6 -C 60 arylene group, substituted C 6 -C 60 aryloxy group, substituted C 6 -C 60 arylthio group, substituted monovalent non-aromatic condensed polycyclic group, and substituted divalent non-aromatic condensed polycyclic group is selected from:

7. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the compound of Formula 1 is selected from compounds illustrated below:
8. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the buffer layer further comprises a dopant.
9. The organic light-emitting device of claim 8 , wherein the dopant is a metal complex.
10. The organic light-emitting device of claim 8 , wherein the dopant is a benzofluorene derivative compound.
11. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the buffer layer is 10 Å to 150 Å.
12. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the hole transport region comprises a charge-generation material.
13. The organic light-emitting device of claim 12 , wherein the charge-generation material is a p-dopant.
14. The organic light-emitting device of claim 13 , wherein the p-dopant is one selected from a quinone derivative, a metal oxide, and a cyano-containing compound.
15. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the electron transport region comprises a Li complex.
16. The organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the electron transport region comprises at least one selected from ET-D1 and ET-D2:
17. A display device comprising the organic light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first electrode of the organic light-emitting device is electrically connected to one selected from a source electrode and a drain electrode.
