Solid-state imaging apparatus
A solid-state imaging apparatus includes: a solid-state imaging device photoelectrically converting light taken by a lens; and a light shielding member shielding part of light incident on the solid-state imaging device from the lens, wherein an angle made between an edge surface of the light shielding member and an optical axis direction of the lens is larger than an incident angle of light to be incident on an edge portion of the light shielding member.
1. An imaging device comprising:
a lens;
an image sensor configured to convert incident light travelling through the lens;
a substrate;
a connection portion sealed by a sealing member, the connection portion electrically connecting the image sensor to the substrate;
an optical filter disposed over the image sensor; and
a light shielding member that shields part of light incident from the lens,
wherein a portion of the light shielding member is disposed at a surface of the optical filter facing the lens, the light shielding member defines an opening, a size of a first portion of the opening facing the image sensor is greater than a size of a second portion of the opening facing the lens, and a virtual extension surface of a portion of a side surface of the light shielding member does not intersect the substrate.
2. The imaging device according to claim 1 , wherein the virtual extension surface does not intersect the sealing member.
3. The imaging device according to claim 1 , wherein the connection portion includes at least one conductive bump.
4. The imaging device according to claim 1 , wherein the sealing member includes a resin.
5. The imaging device according to claim 1 , wherein a light receiving surface of the image sensor is exposed in a cavity defined by a space between the image sensor and the optical filter.
6. The imaging device according to claim 5 , wherein the light shielding member is adhered to the optical filter.
7. The imaging device according to claim 6 , wherein the optical filter is adhered to the substrate.
8. The imaging device according to claim 1 , wherein the connection portion is electrically connected to a peripheral portion of the image sensor and a peripheral portion of the substrate.
9. The imaging device according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a resin layer filling a space between the optical filter and the image sensor such that the resin layer contacts the optical filter, the light shielding member, the sealing member, and the image sensor.
10. The imaging device according to claim 9 , wherein the virtual extension surface does not intersect a side surface of the resin layer.
11. The imaging device according to claim 9 , wherein the light shielding member is adhered to the optical filter, and wherein the resin layer adheres the optical filter and the light shielding member to the image sensor.
12. An imaging device comprising:
a lens;
an image sensor configured to convert incident light travelling through the lens;
a substrate;
a connection portion sealed by a sealing member, the connection portion electrically connecting the image sensor to the substrate;
an optical filter disposed over the image sensor; and
a light shielding member,
wherein a portion of the light shielding member is disposed at a surface of the optical filter facing the lens, the light shielding member defines an opening, a size of a first portion of the opening facing the image sensor is greater than a size of a second portion of the opening facing the lens, and a virtual extension surface of a portion of a side surface of the light shielding member does not intersect the substrate.
13. The imaging device according to claim 12 , wherein the virtual extension surface does not intersect the sealing member.
14. The imaging device according to claim 12 , wherein a light receiving surface of the image sensor is exposed in a cavity defined by a space between the image sensor and the optical filter.
15. The imaging device according to claim 12 , wherein the light shielding member is adhered to the optical filter.
16. The imaging device according to claim 15 , wherein the optical filter is adhered to the substrate.
17. The imaging device according to claim 12 , wherein the connection portion is electrically connected to a peripheral portion of the image sensor and a peripheral portion of the substrate.
18. The imaging device according to claim 12 , further comprising:
a resin layer filling a space between the optical filter and the image sensor such that the resin layer contacts the optical filter, the light shielding member, the sealing member, and the image sensor.
19. The imaging device according to claim 18 , wherein the virtual extension surface does not intersect a side surface of the resin layer.
20. The imaging device according to claim 18 , wherein the light shielding member is adhered to the optical filter, and wherein the resin layer adheres the optical filter and the light shielding member to the image sensor.
