Abstract

A Toll-Free Management Platform (TFMP) includes methods and systems for number administration, customer administration, call management services, texting services and text registry, and a smart services registry. The TFMP may allow users to receive through a web-based interface, an activate request from a user, wherein the request includes at least a customer record template reference and an indication of when to active a toll-free telecommunications number associated with the request. The request may include at least one IP address datum associated with the toll-free telecommunications number. A user interface may allow activating a toll-free number, and users may access the TFMP to create and access existing templates of toll-free call routing templates, and utilize a routing tree engine to create customized call routing trees for the toll-free numbers of interest to the user.

Claims (35)

1. A method of searching for a toll-free number, comprising:

receiving data relating to usage of a toll-free number;

analyzing the received data to create a metadata tag that is associated with the toll-free number;

identifying criteria of a customer-desired toll-free number based at least in part on the metadata tag;

associating at least one toll-free number in a toll-free number inventory with at least one search parameter;

searching the inventory for one or more toll-free numbers having one or more parameters matching the metadata tag to generate a list of search results; and

presenting the search results to the customer based upon toll-free numbers matching the metadata tag.

2. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

sending an offer to the customer, wherein the offer includes a notification of available toll-free numbers having parameters matching the metadata tag; and

wherein predictive analytics are used for searching and presenting an available toll-free number.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying toll-free numbers that are to become available.

4. The method of claim 2 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results at each future customer login.

5. The method of claim 2 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results to the customer on a recurring basis.

6. The method of claim 2 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results to the customer via email on a subscription basis.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein searching the inventory for one or more toll-free numbers matching keywords of a selected customer profile comprises at least one of searching a current responsible organization inventory or a list of upcoming available toll-free numbers.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising automatically reserving one or more toll-free numbers associated with the presented search results.

9. The method of claim 2 , wherein the offer facilitates automatically reserving the toll-free number.

10. A system comprising:

a processor and a computer-readable storage device that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving data relating to usage of a toll-free number;

analyzing the received data to create a metadata tag that is associated with the toll-free number;

identifying criteria of a customer-desired toll-free number based at least in part on the metadata tag;

associating at least one toll-free number in a toll-free number inventory with at least one search parameter;

searching the inventory for one or more toll-free numbers having one or more parameters matching the metadata tag to generate a list of search results; and

presenting the search results to the customer based upon toll-free numbers matching the metadata tag.

11. The system of claim 10 further comprising:

sending an offer to the customer, wherein the offer includes a notification of available toll-free numbers having parameters matching the metadata tag; and

wherein predictive analytics are used for searching and presenting an available toll-free number.

12. The system of claim 10 , further comprising identifying toll-free numbers that are to become available.

13. The system of claim 11 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results at each future customer login.

14. The system of claim 11 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results to the customer on a recurring basis.

15. The system of claim 11 , further comprising presenting predictive analytics search results to the customer via email on a subscription basis.

16. The system of claim 10 , wherein searching the inventory for one or more toll-free numbers matching keywords of a selected customer profile comprises at least one of searching a current responsible organization inventory or a list of upcoming available toll-free numbers.

17. The system of claim 10 , further comprising automatically reserving one or more toll-free numbers associated with the presented search results.

18. The system of claim 11 , wherein offer facilitates automatically reserving the toll-free number.
