Dosing regimens for echinocandin class compounds
The invention features pharmaceutical compositions, methods, and kits featuring dosing gimens and oral dosage formulations for administration of echinocandin class compounds.
1. A method of treating or preventing a fungal infection in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject by intravenous infusion an aqueous solution comprising from 0.50 mg/mL to 3 mg/mL of compound 22 having the structure:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. A method of treating or preventing a fungal infection in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject by intravenous bolus an aqueous solution comprising from 25 mg/mL to 500 mg/mL of compound 22 having the structure:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
3. A device for injecting into a subject an aqueous solution comprising compound 22 having the structure:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the device comprises a container holding from 0.05 mL to 10 mL of said aqueous solution and a needle.
