Abstract

Hats including hair ports are disclosed herein. One hat includes a first portion, a second portion, and a set of straps coupling the first portion and the second portion. Here, the set of straps, the first portion, and the second portion create a set of ports located at a rear portion of the hat that extends from a crown of the hat to a bottom of the hat. Further, at least one port in the set of ports includes a size that allows the hair of a person wearing the hat to be placed there through.

Claims (66)

1. A hat, comprising:

a first portion including a first top end proximate a crown of the hat and a first bottom end proximate a bottom of the hat;

a second portion including a second top end proximate the crown of the hat and a second bottom end proximate the bottom of the hat;

a first cord including a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is coupled to the first top end of the first portion and the second end is coupled to the first bottom end of the first portion;

a second cord including a third end and a fourth end, wherein the third end is coupled to the second top end of the second portion and the fourth end is coupled to the second bottom end of the second portion; and

an adjustable slide coupling the first cord and the second cord together,

wherein:

the first cord, the second cord, the first portion, and the second portion create a plurality of ports located at a rear portion of the hat and extending from the crown of the hat to the bottom of the hat, and

each port in the plurality of ports is open to an interior of the hat and includes a size that allows hair of a person to be placed from the interior of the hat through each port in the plurality of ports.

2. The hat of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable slide comprises a ring structure moveable along each of the first cord and the second cord.

3. The hat of claim 2 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each of the first cord and the second cord to adjust a respective size of each port in the plurality of ports.

4. The hat of claim 2 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each of the first cord and the second cord to adjust a respective shape of each port in the plurality of ports.

5. The hat of claim 2 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each of the first cord and the second cord to adjust a respective size and a respective shape of each port in the plurality of ports.

6. The hat of claim 2 , further comprising:

a strap located below the plurality of cords and adjacent to the bottom of the hat,

wherein the strap is configured to adjust a size of the hat.

7. The hat of claim 1 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include an adjustable size that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

8. The hat of claim 1 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include adjustable shapes that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

9. The hat of claim 1 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include adjustable sizes and shapes that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

10. The hat of claim 1 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port are located at one of:

the first port is located toward the crown of the hat and the second port is located toward the bottom of the hat, and

the first port is located toward a left side of the hat and the second port is located toward a right side of the hat.

11. A hat, comprising:

a first portion including a first top end proximate a crown of the hat and a first bottom end proximate a bottom of the hat;

a second portion including a second top end proximate the crown of the hat and a second bottom end proximate the bottom of the hat;

a plurality of first cords, wherein:

each first cord in the plurality of first cords includes a first end and a second end,

each first end is coupled to a different first location proximate the first top end of the first portion, and

each second end is coupled to a different second location proximate the first bottom end of the first portion;

a plurality of second cords, wherein:

each second cord in the plurality of second cords includes a third end and a fourth end,

each third end is coupled to a different third location proximate the second top end of the second portion, and

each fourth end is coupled to a different fourth location proximate the second bottom end of the second portion;

an adjustable slide coupling the plurality of first cords and the plurality of second cords together,

wherein:

the plurality of first cords, the plurality of second cords, the first portion, and the second portion create a plurality of ports located at a rear portion of the hat and extending from the crown of the hat to the bottom of the hat, and

each port in the plurality of ports is open to an interior of the hat and includes a size that allows hair of a person to be placed from the interior of the hat through each port in the plurality of ports.

12. The hat of claim 11 , wherein the adjustable slide comprises a ring structure moveable along each first cord of the plurality of first cords and each second cord the plurality of second cords.

13. The hat of claim 12 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each first cord of the plurality of first cords and each second cord of the plurality of second cords to adjust a respective size of each port in the plurality of ports.

14. The hat of claim 12 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each first cord of the plurality of first cords and each second cord of the plurality of second cords to adjust a respective shape of each port in the plurality of ports.

15. The hat of claim 12 , wherein the ring structure is moveable along each first cord of the plurality of first cords and each second cord of the plurality of second cords to adjust a respective size and a respective shape of each port in the plurality of ports.

16. The hat of claim 12 , further comprising:

a strap located below the plurality of first cords, below the plurality of second cords, and adjacent to the bottom of the hat,

wherein the strap is configured to adjust a size of the hat.

17. The hat of claim 11 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include an adjustable size that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

18. The hat of claim 11 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include adjustable shapes that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

19. The hat of claim 11 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port each include adjustable sizes and shapes that allows the hair of the person to be placed there through.

20. The hat of claim 11 , wherein:

the plurality of ports comprises at least a first port and a second port; and

the first port and the second port are located at one of:

the first port is located toward the crown of the hat and the second port is located toward the bottom of the hat, and

the first port is located toward a left side of the hat and the second port is located toward a right side of the hat.
