Foods to promote better health and/or to maintain homeostasis and method of production thereof
Engineered food to promote health and maintain homeostasis in a subject and methods of producing the food.
1. A food product of a plant comprising essential chemical elements enriched for lightest stable isotopes thereof, wherein the enriched stable isotopes of essential chemical elements are more than one selected from the group consisting of 24 Mg, 74 Se, 64 Zn, 85 Rb, 28 Si, 54 Fe, and 40 Ca.
2. The food product of claim 1 , wherein said food product of a plant comprises one or more salts, one or more metal oxides or one or more metal chelates with amino acids of said essential chemical elements.
3. A food product of a plant made by a method comprising:
growing said plant in fertilizer or compost comprising essential chemical elements enriched for lightest stable isotopes thereof; or
growing said plant by foliar feeding said plant a solution comprising essential chemical elements enriched for lightest stable isotopes thereof; or
growing said plant in hydroponics in a solution comprising essential chemical elements enriched for lightest stable isotopes thereof, wherein the enriched stable isotopes of essential chemical elements are more than one selected from the group consisting of 24 Mg, 74 Se, 64 Zn, 85 Rb, 28 Si, 54 Fe, and 40 Ca.
