Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a modular strap-based exercise apparatus, kit, and method of use thereof, and more particularly to an apparatus, kit, and method for modularly connecting components of a strap-based exercise device. In an embodiment, the strap-based exercise apparatus includes one or more infinity loops configured to attach various portions of the exercise apparatus together. The exercise apparatus may be provided as a kit including an elongated member, a grip assembly, and one or more mechanisms for adjusting the length of a strap and connecting straps together.

Claims (11)

1. An exercise device comprising:

a pair of handgrip assemblies for jointly using as an exercise device, each handgrip assembly for selectively attaching at a separate point using its own separate anchor or back on itself after being wrapped around an anchor, the pair of hand grip assemblies configured for permitting a user to perform exercises such as pull ups, and dips, each handgrip assembly comprising:

a grip comprising a tubular hand grip connected to a strap, wherein the strap is connected to a first loop, a second loop, and a third loop and wherein the first loop is connected to one of a buckle or a hook, and wherein the second loop is connected to one of a carabineer, a buckle, or a hook for selective attachment to the anchor or to the third loop, and the grip being made so the tubular hand grip for supporting the weight of the user through the strap while the exercise device is in use, and wherein the strap is slidably connected to the first loop and the second loop via a fourth loop.

2. The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein each of the separate anchors can be merged into a single anchor for use by the exercise device with a pair of handgrip assemblies.

3. The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the strap is permanently connected to the first loop and the second loop via a stitch.

4. An exercise device comprising:

a pair of handgrip assemblies for joint use as an exercise device, each handgrip assembly configured for a user to perform exercises such as pull ups, and dips, each handgrip assembly of the pair of handgrip assemblies comprising:

a combination grip comprising a tubular hand grip connected to a connecting strap member including a first length of strap, wherein the connecting strap member is connected to a supporting strap member comprising a second length of strap forming a first loop and a second loop, and wherein the first loop is connected to one of a buckle or a hook, and wherein the second loop is connected to one of a carabineer, a buckle, or a hook for selective attachment to an anchor or to a third loop on the supporting member, and the combination grip being made so the tubular hand grip supports the weight of the user while the exercise device is in use, and wherein the connecting strap member is permanently connected to the supporting strap member via a stitch.

5. The exercise device of claim 4 , each handgrip assembly of the pair of handgrip assemblies is connected to a separate anchor.

6. The exercise device of claim 4 , wherein the supporting strap member is releasably connected to an anchor point by wrapping the supporting strap member around the anchor point and connecting the one of the carabineer, the buckle, or the hook to the third loop.

7. The exercise device of claim 4 , wherein each handgrip assembly includes a foot loop.
