Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method, an apparatus, and a computer program for authenticating a connectionless asset tracking service in a Wireless communication system, and a recording medium for the computer program. The method for authenticating a connectionless asset tracking service comprises the steps in which a first device: receives an advertising packet from a second device; determines whether at least one advertising data (AD) structure included in the advertising packet is an AD structure related to a connectionless asset tracking service, and on the basis of security key information, decodes the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service; and determines a location on the basis of the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service, wherein an AD type field of the structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service may comprise a value indicating a connectionless asset tracking service.

Claims (38)

1. A method for a connectionless asset tracking service in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving, by a first device after being disconnected from a second device, an advertising packet from the second device;

determining whether at least one advertising data structure (AD structure) included in the advertising packet is an AD structure related to a connectionless asset tracking service, and decrypting the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service based on security key information; and

determining a location based on the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service,

wherein the AD structure includes an AD length field, an AD type field, and an AD data field,

wherein the AD type field of the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service includes a value indicating a connectionless asset tracking service, and

wherein the AD data field of the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service includes pseudo-noise data used for measuring an angle of arrival (AoA) related to the connectionless asset tracking.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service is encrypted based on security key information generated based on security key related information provided from the first device to the second device.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein:

audio data broadcasted from the first device is encrypted based on the security key related information.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

whether the at least one AD structure is the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service is determined by a host of the first device.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein:

the host provides a command for activating In-phase/Quadrature (I/Q) sampling to a controller of the first device, and

the result of the I/Q sampling is used for measuring the AoA related to the connectionless asset tracking.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein:

the command is provided together with a parameter related to the I/Q sampling.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

a message for requesting activation or deactivation of the connectionless asset tracking service is transmitted from the first device to the second device.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

information on a time related to activation of a connectionless asset tracking service is provided from the first device to the second device.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the advertising packet is a packet of a specific format for a device belonging to a mesh network.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the first device is a connectionless asset tracking service client, and

the second device is a connectionless asset tracking service server.

11. A device for performing a connectionless asset tracking service in a wireless communication system, the device comprising:

a transceiver;

a memory; and

a processor coupled to the transceiver and the memory;

wherein the processor is configured to:

receive, after being disconnected from another device, through the transceiver, an advertising packet from the another device;

determine whether at least one advertising data structure (AD structure) included in the advertising packet is an AD structure related to a connectionless asset tracking service, and decrypt the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service based on security key information; and

determine a location based on the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service,

wherein the AD structure includes an AD length field, an AD type field, and an AD data field,

wherein the AD type field of the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service includes a value indicating a connectionless asset tracking service, and

wherein the AD data field of the AD structure related to the connectionless asset tracking service includes pseudo-noise data used for measuring an angle of arrival (AoA) related to the connectionless asset tracking.
