Abstract

This disclosure pertains to new compositions and methods comprising a first serotonergic drug and a second serotonergic drug. In one embodiment, the compositions disclosed herein are used for a method of regulating a neurotransmitter receptor, e.g., a serotonin receptor. In one embodiment, the compositions disclosed herein comprise purified compounds, e.g., a purified psilocybin derivative, a purified cannabinoid, a purified terpene, a purified tryptamine, purified LSD, and/or purified MDMA.

Claims (23)

1. A dosage formulation for treating a psychological disorder comprising a homogenous mixture of:

a first purified psilocybin derivative selected from the group consisting of [3-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine, [3-(2-methylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine, [3-(aminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxytryptamine, [3-(2-trimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N,N,N-trimethyltryptamine, and salts thereof; and

a second purified psilocybin derivative selected from the group consisting of [3-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine, [3-(2-methylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine, [3-(aminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxytryptamine, [3-(2-trimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate, 4-hydroxy-N,N,N-trimethyltryptamine, and salts thereof;

wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is different than the second purified psilocybin derivative.

2. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the dosage formulation comprises a molar ratio between about 10:1 to about 1:10 of the first purified psilocybin derivative to the second purified psilocybin derivative.

3. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the dosage formulation comprises a molar ratio between about 100:1 to about 1:100 of the first purified psilocybin derivative to the second purified psilocybin derivative.

4. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the dosage formulation comprises a molar ratio between about 1,000:1 to about 1:1,000 of the first purified psilocybin derivative to the second purified psilocybin derivative.

5. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the dosage formulation comprises a molar ratio of about 10,000:1 to about 1:10,000 of the first purified psilocybin derivative to the second purified psilocybin derivative.

6. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the dosage formulation further comprises an excipient.

7. The dosage formulation of claim 6 , wherein the excipient is a stabilizer.

8. The dosage formulation of claim 7 , wherein the stabilizer is an antioxidant.

9. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is [3-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate.

10. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine.

11. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is [3-(2-methylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate.

12. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 4-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine.

13. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is [3-(aminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate.

14. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 4-hydroxytryptamine.

15. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is [3-(2-trimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate.

16. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 4-hydroxy-N,N,N-trimethyltryptamine.

17. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 80-100% pure.

18. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the first purified psilocybin derivative is 90-100% pure.

19. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the second purified psilocybin derivative is 80-100% pure.

20. The dosage formulation of claim 1 , wherein the second purified psilocybin derivative is 90-100% pure.
