Abstract

A system and method for intent-based active callback management using enhanced callback objects, utilizing a cloud callback system comprising at least a profile manager, callback manager, interaction manager, media server, and environment analyzer, allowing users to call businesses, agents in contact centers, or other users who are connected to a cloud callback system, and, failing to connect to the individual they called, allow for an automatic callback object to be created, whereby the two users may be automatically called and bridged together at a time when both users are available.

Claims (37)

1. A system for intent-based active callback management using enhanced callback objects, comprising:

a callback manager comprising at least a processor, a memory, and a first plurality of programming instructions stored in the memory and operating on the processor, wherein the first plurality of programming instructions, when operating on the processor, cause the processor to:

instantiate a first callback object associated with a callback request;

obtain environmental context for a callback requester and a callback recipient;

prompt the callback requester for information pertaining to the callback request;

associate a plurality of keywords with the first callback object; and

connect the two parties, when the two first and second called parties are online, and delete the first callback object.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein a plurality of additional callback objects are retrieved, and the plurality of keywords are further based on analysis of at least one of the plurality of additional callback objects.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein an additional callback object is selected based on a keyword associated with the first callback object.

4. A method for intent-based active callback management using enhanced callback objects, comprising the steps of:

instantiating a first callback object based on a callback request;

obtaining environmental context for a callback requester and a callback recipient;

prompting the callback requester for information pertaining to the callback request;

associating a plurality of keywords with the first callback object; and

connecting the callback requester and the callback recipient, when the callback requester and the callback recipient are both online; and

deleting the first callback object.

5. The method of claim 4 , further comprising the step of retrieving a plurality of additional callback objects, wherein the plurality of keywords are further based on analysis of at least one of the plurality of additional callback objects.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein an additional callback object is selected based on a keyword associated with the first callback object.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental context includes information associated with when the callback requester will be commuting.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental context is obtained through a recording or parsed from online profile.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the callback is scheduled based on a calendar associated with the callback requester.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the callback is scheduled based on a calendar associated with the callback recipient.

11. The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of nature of the callback requester profile, session, interactions, and identity are associated with the first callback object.

12. The system of claim 1 , wherein the callback is scheduled based on determination of intent of the callback requester.

13. The system of claim 1 , wherein the callback requester is validated by a privacy server.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the validation is further based on association of an equipment to an organization, wherein the equipment is where the callback is being requested from.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the connecting the two parties includes initiating a first call to either the callback requester or the callback recipient and upon successful completion of the first call initiating a second call to a party other than the party to the first call, and wherein the first call and the second call are bridged in response to a successful completion of the second call.

16. The system of claim 1 , wherein the callback requester is prevented from requesting the callback in response to determining that the callback requester is not sufficiently trusted.

17. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first callback object is further populated with speech-to-text information regarding a call from the callback requester where the callback request has been initiated from.

18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of keywords is obtained from the populated speech-to-text information.

19. A system for intent-based active callback management using enhanced callback objects, comprising:

a callback manager comprising at least a processor, a memory, and a first plurality of programming instructions stored in the memory and operating on the processor, wherein the first plurality of programming instructions, when operating on the processor, cause the processor to:

instantiate a first callback object associated with a callback request;

prompt the callback requester for information pertaining to the callback request;

associate a plurality of keywords with the first callback object; and

connect the two parties, when the two first and second called parties are online, and delete the first callback object.

The method of claim 4 , wherein the connecting the two parties includes initiating a first call to either the callback requester or the callback recipient and upon successful completion of the first call initiating a second call to a party other than the party to the first call, and wherein the first call and the second call are bridged in response to a successful completion of the second call.
