Abstract

A system, platform and method for personalized shopping are provided. In some embodiments, a personalized shopping assistant system may include a Point of Sale based automated shopping assistant apparatus, for generating a 3D user shopping profile based on a capture of at least a part of a user's body; a shopping assistant server connected to a shopping assistant database, based in a communications cloud, wherein the user shopping profile is uploaded to the shopping assistant database; a mobile device application for applying the user shopping profile in a store, using the user's mobile device; and multiple product identifiers for enabling the user to capture selected products using the mobile device application, wherein the product identifiers include scannable product data that is stored on the shopping assistant database.

Claims (47)

1 . A method for matching shoppers and products using a shopping assistant application, comprising:

using one or more imaging sensors on a main body attached to or integrated with a shopping assistant apparatus, obtaining an image of at least a part of a body of a user;

generating a user 3D shopping profile of the user using the obtained image, by the shopping assistant apparatus;

generating a match between the user 3D shopping profile and multiple products that fit one or more elements of the user 3D shopping profile;

sending the user 3D shopping profile to a user mobile device, wherein the user 3D shopping profile is configured to interactively display a product matching interface on the user mobile device;

responsive to receiving a user selection with the product matching interface, identifying a product of interest by the user;

providing, to the user mobile device, a product customization interface that displays the product of interest fitted to a user shopping profile avatar generated for the user 3D shopping profile, wherein displaying the product of interest includes applying a plurality of digital adjustments to position, orient, and scale the product of interest to fit to the user shopping profile avatar, and determining one or more product customization parameters based on the plurality of digital adjustments; and

based on receiving a user order selection from the product customization interface, initiating a customized product process that triggers manufacturing a customized product in accordance with the one or more product customization parameters and the user order selection.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the customized product process includes transmitting a 3D print file to a production system, wherein the 3D print file comprises the one or more product customization parameters.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the user 3D shopping profile includes parameterizing scanned data from the obtained image to extract dimensional data relating the part of the body.

4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing the user with product inventory information.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising adjusting a fit of the product of interest on the user shopping profile avatar.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising sending the product of interest fitted user shopping profile avatar to a social media system for viewing by one or more users selected by the user.

7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising enhancing the user 3D shopping profile based on receiving user behavior data.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing shopping recommendations based on the user 3D shopping profile or user shopping behavior.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising using the user 3D shopping profile for shopping in an online store.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising enhancing the user 3D shopping profile using one or more capturing elements selected from the group consisting of a pressure sensor, image sensor, laser, and light sensor.

11 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising adding additional user shopping profiles to a mobile device.

12 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising converting a user's profile from an in-store apparatus to a user mobile device.

13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating of a user 3D shopping profile includes generating of a 3D feet profile, for enabling footwear matching.

14 . A computing platform comprising:

a main body comprising one or more imaging sensors, wherein the main body is attached to or integrated with a shopping assistant apparatus;

the shopping assistant apparatus comprising:

at least one processor;

a communication interface communicatively coupled to the at least one processor; and

memory storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing platform to:

use the one or more imaging sensors to obtain an image of at least a part of a body of a user using the one or more imaging sensors;

generate a user 3D shopping profile of the user using the image;

generate a match between the user 3D shopping profile and multiple products that fit one or more elements of the user 3D shopping profile;

send the user 3D shopping profile to a user mobile device to cause an interactive display a product matching interface of the user 3D shopping profile on the user mobile device;

responsive to receiving a user selection with the product matching interface, identify a product of interest;

interactively provide a product customization interface to the user mobile device configured to display an automated product matching fitted to a user shopping profile avatar generated for the user 3D shopping profile, wherein displaying the automated product matching includes applying one or more digital adjustments to position, orient, and scale the product of interest to fit to the user shopping profile avatar, and determining one or more product customization parameters based on the one or more digital adjustments; and

based on receiving a user order selection from the product customization interface, initiate a customized product process that triggers manufacturing a customized product in accordance with the one or more product customization parameters and the user order selection.

15 . The computing platform of claim 14 , wherein the customized product process includes transmitting a 3D print file to a production system, wherein the 3D print file comprises the one or more product customization parameters.

16 . The computing platform of claim 14 , wherein the memory stores additional computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing platform to:

receive user customization selections based on a user interaction with the product customization interface.

17 . The computing platform of claim 14 , wherein generating the user 3D shopping profile includes parameterizing scanned data from the obtained image to extract dimensional data relating the part of the body.

18 . The computing platform of claim 14 , wherein the memory stores additional computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing platform to:

provide, for display on the interface, product inventory information responsive to user interaction with the automated product matching on the user 3D shopping profile.

19 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by a computing platform comprising at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory, cause the computing platform to:

initiate capture of an image of at least a part of a body of a user using one or more integrated imaging sensors on a main body attached to or integrated with a shopping assistant apparatus;

generate a user 3D shopping profile of the user using the captured image;

generate a match between the user 3D shopping profile and multiple products that fit one or more elements of the user 3D shopping profile;

send the user 3D shopping profile to a user mobile device to cause an interactive display of a product matching interface with the user 3D shopping profile on the user mobile device;

responsive to receiving a user selection with the product matching interface, identify a selected product of interest from the user mobile device;

interactively provide a product customization interface to the user mobile device configured to display the selected product of interest fitted to a user shopping profile avatar generated for the user 3D shopping profile, wherein displaying the selected product of interest includes applying a plurality of digital adjustments to position, orient, and scale the product of interest to fit to the user shopping profile avatar, and determining one or more product customization parameters based on the plurality of digital adjustments; and

based on receiving a user order selection from the product customization interface, initiating a customized product process that triggers manufacturing a customized product in accordance with the one or more product customization parameters and the user order selection.
