Abstract

A controller of the table game management system is configured to be able to recognize that a bet chip bet by a winning player and a payout chip paid to the winning player are transferred outside a chip placement area, and associate, in a database, ID information of the payout chip with ID information of the bet chip transferred outside the chip placement area at the same timing as the payout chip, and includes a function to associate, in the database, ID information held by RFID of the payout chip with information about an owner of the bet chip indicated by RFID of the bet chip.

Claims (21)

1 . A table game management system, comprising:

a plurality of gaming chips, wherein each gaming chip has an individually identifiable RFID attached thereto;

a game table for playing games using the plurality of gaming chips;

a chip placement area provided on the game table, wherein the chip placement area allows a plurality of players to place gaming chips, among the plurality of gaming chips, as betting chips, and in which a dealer may pay out payout chips, each payout chip having an individually identifiable RFID attached for a winning player;

a chip reader that collectively reads the RFID of each gaming chip placed in the chip placement area;

a controller that determines results of the reading by the chip reader; and

a storage device that stores an ID information of the RFID of each gaming chip in association with an ID information of an owner of the gaming chip, for each of the plurality of gaming chips;

wherein, when the dealer pays out the payout chip to the winning player of the plurality of players, the chip reader reads the ID information of the RFID of the payout chip, and

wherein the controller is capable of:

obtaining an ID information of an owner of a gaming chip based on an ID information of an RFID of the gaming chip, for each of the plurality of gaming chips,

when a plurality of players place gaming chips as betting chips in the same chip placement area:

recognizing that a payout chip has been paid out for a betting chip placed by a winning player, by detecting an ID information of the betting chip and an ID information of the payout chip placed for the betting chip based on a reading result of the chip reader, and

rewriting, in the storage device, an ID information of an owner associated with the ID information of the payout chip paid out for the betting chip bet by the winning player to the ID information of the owner associated with the ID information of the betting chip.

The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the controller recognizes first gaming chips as the payout chips, wherein the first gaming chips are gaming chips that disappear from the chip placement area at the same time as the bet chips bet by the winning player, based on the chip reader reading results.

3 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the storage device is a database that stores, for the plurality of gaming chips, the ID information of each gaming chip in association with the ID information of the owner of the gaming chip.

The table game management system according to claim 3 , wherein the controller further determines that there is fraud when a combination of an ID information of a player and an ID information of a gaming chip placed as a betting chip in the chip placement area by the player does not match a combination of a stored ID information of the gaming chip and an ID information of the owner associated with the stored ID information of the gaming chip.

5 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the storage device is the RFID attached to each gaming chip and storing the ID information of the gaming chip and the ID information of the owner of the gaming chip.

6 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the reading area of the chip reader covers the entire chip placement area.

7 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a camera that captures the game table to generate images; and

an image analyzer that recognizes the gaming chips and a dealer hand or a player hand on the game table by analyzing the images, wherein the controller recognizes a movement of the gaming chips and/or the dealer's or player's hands based on recognition results of the image analyzer.
