Abstract

Systems, methods, apparatuses and articles of manufacture for mobile advertisement and reporting systems are disclosed. A mobile advertising system in accordance with the present disclosure comprises a device capable of determining a geolocation of the device, at least one sensor, coupled to the device, for determining at least a motion of the device, a display, coupled to the device in which the display faces in a direction; and a camera, coupled to the device, in which the camera captures an scene in the direction, in which the device sends at least one image to the display based at least in part on the geolocation of the device, the determined motion of the device, and the scene in the direction, and the display shows the at least one image in the direction.

Claims (23)

1 . A mobile advertising reporting system comprising:

a mobile advertising delivery system comprising

a first device comprising a portable user device with a geolocation sensor capable of determining a geolocation of the portable user device operable to receive satellite signals via a communication tower, and at least one sensor, coupled to the portable user device, for determining at least a motion of the portable user device;

a camera in communication with the portable user device, wherein the camera is operable to capture and transmit a scene including a mountable second device scene for analysis to the portable user device;

at least one sensor in communication with the portable user device, wherein the sensor is operable to detect information about the surrounding scene;

a mountable second device comprising a display device with a non- integrated display screen removably affixed to a vehicle surface in communication with the portable user device wherein the mobile advertising reporting system is configured to

analyze one or more of a physical characteristic of a detected vehicle in the scene captured from the camera and sensor, a behavior of the detected vehicle, a location of the detected vehicle, a time of day, and a number of occupants in the detected vehicle,

select media based on an analysis of one or more of the physical characteristic of the detected vehicle in the scene,

deliver selected media from the portable user device to the display device,

receive the selected media by the display device,

display the received selected media on the display device,

wherein the mobile advertising delivery system is configured to analyze a camera input, select a media for delivery, deliver the media to a display, and display the media on the display, and

wherein the selected media is displayed for a duration of time that the detected vehicle is facing the display, repeats a sequence when a new vehicle is detected, are selected and shown in response to the detected vehicle, or resumes the sequence when the previously detected vehicle is identified

wherein the selected media progresses through the sequence of advertisements or messages without repeating the same advertisements or messages,

a reporting system in communication with the mobile advertising delivery system wherein the reporting system is configured to generate a report including one or more of duration, time of day, type of media presented, type of vehicle receiving the media presented, and a latency response to the delivered media wherein a report generator determines an advertisement exposure window for the vehicle facing the display based on stationary or stop-and-go conditions and a substantially unchanged scene, and computes a duration for the advertisement exposure from an advertising exposure start timestamp and an advertising exposure end timestamp.

2 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 1 wherein the reporting system is further configured to determine a compensation for the user.

3 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 2 wherein the compensation is displayed on the user device.

4 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 2 wherein the compensation is determined as a function of a compensation tier.

5 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 1 wherein a route of a vehicle of the user is determined and incorporated into the report.

6 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 1 wherein the report identifies an amount of time each vehicle was exposed to the media.

7 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 1 wherein the report correlates a type of vehicle exposed to the media.

8 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 1 wherein the report analyzes an effectiveness of delivered media.

9 . The mobile advertising reporting system of claim 8 wherein the report analyzes the effectiveness based on one or more of (1) a length of time that a particular vehicle was exposed to the media; (2) whether the media was displayed during daytime or during nighttime; (3) whether there were passengers in the particular vehicle; and (4) how long it took to respond to the media.
