Abstract

An exercise equipment, that includes (a) a frame that includes a vertically wall-mountable beam; (b) one or more brackets for connecting the vertically wall-mountable beam to a wall; (c) an arm that rotatable in relation to the vertically wall-mountable beam and is selectively positionable along the vertically wall-mountable beam; (d) a cable; (e) a resistance source, and (f) a cable transfer unit that is configured to convey the cable through a cable path formed within the frame.

Claims (27)

1 . An arm position adjustment mechanism for exercise equipment, comprising:

a rotatable unit having multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves corresponding to multiple rotational angles of an arm of the exercise equipment;

a locking mechanism structurally coupled to the rotatable unit, the locking mechanism being pivotable between an open position and a locking position, wherein in the locking position a cylindrical locking rod of the locking mechanism is received within one of the pairs of diametrically opposite grooves and is pressed against the pair of diametrically opposite grooves with the aid of a fastening element; and

a lock controller operably connected to a knob, the lock controller configured to move the locking mechanism into the open position in response to manipulation of the knob, wherein in the open position the rotatable unit is allowed to rotate for adjustment of a rotational angle of the arm.

2 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the diametrically opposite grooves are evenly arranged circumferentially around the rotatable unit.

3 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein each groove of the multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves comprises rounded troughs and crests, with the sidewalls of each groove of the multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves being non-parallel to each other.

4 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the fastening element comprises a spring.

5 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the cylindrical locking rod comprises a round cross section.

6 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the locking mechanism further comprises a pivot rod, about which the locking mechanism is pivotable with respect to the rotatable unit, and an additional rod; the cylindrical locking rod, the pivot rod and the additional rod being connected to a common frame element of the locking mechanism.

7 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the locking mechanism is biased to return to the locking position by the fastening element, thereby locking the rotatable unit.

8 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the lock controller comprises a lock controller rod including a locking rod manipulator and a spring holding element.

9 . The arm position adjustment mechanism according to claim 8 , wherein the locking rod manipulator and spring holding element are respectively formed as first and second teeth protruding outwardly from the lock controller rod.

10 . An exercise equipment, comprising:

a wall mountable frame;

an arm rotatable with respect to the frame;

a shoulder via which the arm is connected to the frame, the shoulder comprising:

a rotatable unit having multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves corresponding to multiple rotational angles of the arm;

a locking mechanism structurally coupled to the rotatable unit, the locking mechanism being pivotable between an open position and a locking position, wherein in the locking position a cylindrical locking rod of the locking mechanism is received within one of the pairs of diametrically opposite grooves and is pressed against the pair of diametrically opposite grooves with the aid of a fastening element; and

a lock controller operably connected to a knob, the lock controller configured to move the locking mechanism into the open position in response to manipulation of the knob, wherein in the open position the rotatable unit is allowed to rotate for adjustment of a rotational angle of the arm.

11 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the diametrically opposite grooves are evenly arranged circumferentially around the rotatable unit.

12 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein each groove of the multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves comprises rounded troughs and crests, with the sidewalls of each groove of the multiple pairs of diametrically opposite grooves being non-parallel to each other.

13 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the fastening element comprises a spring.

14 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the cylindrical locking rod comprises a round cross section.

15 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the locking mechanism further comprises a pivot rod, about which the locking mechanism is pivotable with respect to the rotatable unit, and an additional rod; the cylindrical locking rod, the pivot rod and the additional rod being connected to a common frame element of the locking mechanism.

16 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the locking mechanism is biased to return to the locking position by the fastening element, thereby locking the rotatable unit.

17 . The exercise equipment according to claim 10 , wherein the lock controller comprises a lock controller rod including a locking rod manipulator and a spring holding element.

18 . The exercise equipment according to claim 17 , wherein the locking rod manipulator and spring holding element are respectively formed as first and second teeth protruding outwardly from the lock controller rod.
