Medicinal compositions containing aspirin
View Patent ↗A combination of 2-acetoxy-5-(α-cyclopropylcarbonyl-2-fluorobenzyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and aspirin, which possess excellent inhibitory activity against platelet aggregation and thrombogenesis, and is useful for preventing or treating diseases caused by thrombus or embolus.
1. A pharmaceutical composition consisting essentially of 2-acetoxy-5-(α-cyclopropylcarbonyl-2-fluorobenzyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and aspirin, in a ratio by weight of 1:500 to 500:1 and, optionally, a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
2. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 containing said pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
3. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the 2-acetoxy-5-(α-cyclopropylcarbonyl-2-fluorobenzyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridine is in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
4. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 3 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is the hydrochloride.
5. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 3 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt is the maleate.
