LUCA2 and antibodies that bind thereto
The invention provides the identification and characterization of disease and cancer-associated antigen, LUCA2. The invention also provides a family of monoclonal antibodies that bind to antigen LUCA2, methods of diagnosing and treating various human cancers and diseases that express LUCA2.
1. An isolated antibody that specifically binds LUCA2 and comprises an antigen-binding fragment of the antibody expressed by the hybridoma ATCC No. PTA-5068.
2. An isolated antibody comprising three complementarity determining regions from the heavy chain and three complementarity determining regions from the light chain of the anti-LUCA2 antibody produced by the hybridoma having ATCC Deposit No. PTA-5068.
3. The isolated antibody of claim 2 , which is a chimeric antibody.
4. The isolated antibody of claim 2 , which is a humanized antibody.
5. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody of claim 2 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
6. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5 , wherein the composition further comprises an additional therapeutic moiety.
