Allosteric modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptors
The present invention relates to new compounds of formula (I) wherein A, B, P, Q, W, R 1 and R 2 are defined in the description; invention compounds are useful in the prevention or treatment of central nervous system disorders as well as other disorders modulated by mGluR5 receptors.
1. A compound selected from the group consisting of:
(4-Fluoro-phenyl)-{3-[5-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl}-piperidin-1-yl}-methanone;
(4-Fluoro-phenyl)-[3-(4-fluoro-phenylethynyl)-piperidin-1-yl]-methanone;
(4-Fluoro-phenyl)-{(S)-3-[5-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-[1,3,4]oxadiazol-2-yl]-piperidin-1-yl}-methanone; and
(4-Fluoro-phenyl)-[3-(5-phenyl-tetrazol-2-yl)-piperidin-1-yl]-methanone;
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
3. A method for treating a mammal suffering from Schizophrenia, Delusional Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder, Schizophreniform Disorder, or Substance-Induced Psychotic Disorder, the method comprising administering a compound of claim 1 to the mammal.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the method is a method of treating schizophrenia.
