Abstract

A load control system for a work vehicle including set rotation speed detection means for detecting a set rotation speed of an engine of the work vehicle, actual rotation speed detection means that senses an actual rotation speed of the engine, a continuously variable speed change device that receives power from the engine of the work vehicle, speed change position detecting means for detecting a speed change operating position of the continuously variable speed change device, operating means for speed-shifting the continuously variable speed change device, and control means for controlling the operation of the operating means.

Claims (25)

1. A change speed control system for a work vehicle, the system comprising:

a hydrostatic type continuously variable speed change device effecting a change speed operation of power from an engine of the work vehicle and transmitting a resulting power to drive wheels, the continuously variable speed change device including:

an axial plunger type variable displacement pump having a pump swash plate; and

an axial plunger type variable displacement motor having a motor swash plate;

a control device controlling the variable displacement pump and the variable displacement motor;

a swash plate sensor detecting an operation position of the pump swash plate and inputting the operation position into the control device; and

a switching mechanism switching the motor swash plate between a high speed motor mode in which the motor swash plate is set to a high speed position thereof and a low speed motor mode in which the motor swash plate is set to a low speed position thereof,

wherein the control device is configured to perform a speed reduction control process for switching the motor swash plate from the high speed motor mode to the low speed motor mode, and

wherein the control device is configured to perform, as a preprocess prior to the speed reduction control process, a pump speed reduction process for operating the pump swash plate to a target speed reduction position from a current position which is stored as a stored position, and

during the speed reduction control process, the control device is configured to simultaneously perform a return process for returning the pump swash plate to the stored position.

2. The change speed control system according to claim 1 , wherein, during the pump speed reduction process, the pump swash plate is operated at a predetermined pump swash plate operating speed, and wherein, during the speed reduction control process, the motor swash plate is operated at a predetermined motor swash plate operating speed.

3. The change speed control system according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a brake pedal; and

a brake sensor detecting a braking operation by the braking pedal and inputting a braking operation into the control device,

wherein the control device is configured to perform the speed reduction control process in response to detection by the brake sensor of the braking operation by the brake pedal during the high speed motor mode.

4. A change speed control system for a work vehicle, the system comprising:

a hydrostatic type continuously variable speed change device effecting a change speed operation of power from an engine of the work vehicle and transmitting a resulting power to drive wheels, the continuously variable speed change device including:

an axial plunger type variable displacement pump having a pump swash plate; and

an axial plunger type variable displacement motor having a motor swash plate;

a control device controlling the variable displacement pump and the variable displacement motor;

a swash plate sensor detecting an operation position of the pump swash plate and inputting the operation position into the control device; and

a switching mechanism switching the motor swash plate between a high speed motor mode in which the motor swash plate is set to a high speed position thereof and a low speed motor mode in which the motor swash plate is set to a low speed position thereof,

wherein the control device is configured to perform a speed raise control process for switching the motor swash plate from the low speed motor mode to the high speed motor mode, and

wherein, during the speed raise control process, the control device is configured to simultaneously perform a pump speed reduction process for operating the pump swash plate to a target speed reduction position from a current position which is stored as a stored position, and also perform, as a postprocess after the speed raise control process, a return process for returning the pump swash plate to the stored position.

5. The change speed control system according to claim 4 , wherein, during the pump speed reduction process, the pump swash plate is operated at a predetermined pump swash plate operating speed, and wherein, during the speed raise control process, the motor swash plate is operated at a predetermined motor swash plate operating speed.
