A method and apparatus for the distribution of electronic media for distribution to employees of a subscriber. The system includes a controller having a storage on which an electronic media collection is stored, and a display connected to the controller for displaying selected electronic media collection. The display is provided with a first and a second frame where each frame displays selected electronic media from the electronic media collection. The system provides for a customer to set the electronic media collection. The system may further include a code, presented on the display that may be scanned and present additional information to the viewer. The additional information may be pushed to the scanning device, or the scanning device may be navigated to a website where the information may be presented.

Claims (30)

1. A system for transmitting and displaying electronic media from a service provider to a subscriber comprising:

a controller having a storage with an electronic media collection stored thereon, said electronic media collection comprising: pre-assembled electronic media or custom generated electronic media, or both pre-assembled and custom generated electronic media;

a display coupled to said controller, said display displaying the electronic media collection,

said display including at least a first and a second frame where each frame displays selected electronic media from the electronic media collection selected from the group consisting of: audio, video, text, images, animations, web pages, streaming media data or combinations thereof and the subscriber sets a sequential order and time limit for each electronic media to be displayed on said display;

a service provider computer coupled to said controller via a network connection; and

wherein a customer computer couples to said service provider computer via the network connection to set the electronic media collection.

2. The system according to claim 1 further comprising a code located on said display.

3. The system according to claim 2 wherein said code is selected from the group consisting of: a bar code, a UPC code, a EAN code, a QR code, or a DataMatrix code.

4. The system according to claim 2 further wherein a code reader is used to scan and read the code and additional information relating to the electronic communication currently displayed is provided to a viewer.

5. The system according to claim 4 wherein the code reader is provided in a portable electronic device selected from the group consisting of: a mobile phone, a smart phone, an electronic personal organizer and combinations thereof.

6. The system according to claim 5 wherein when the code is scanned and read by the code reader, the portable electronic device is navigated to a website where additional information relating to the electronic communication currently displayed is provided to a viewer.

7. The system according to claim 6 wherein once the portable electronic device is navigated to the website where additional information relating to the electronic communication currently displayed is provided to a viewer, the viewer is presented with the option of inputting information to the website.

8. The system according to claim 7 wherein once information is input to the website, the website presents or sends a confirmation to the portable electronic device.

9. The system according to claim 4 wherein the additional information relating to the electronic communication currently displayed comprises a survey.

10. The system according to claim 9 wherein answers provided to the survey are stored on said controller.

11. A system for transmitting and displaying electronic media from a service provider to a subscriber comprising:

a controller having a storage with an electronic media collection stored thereon, said electronic media collection comprising a plurality of electronic media;

a display coupled to said controller, said display displaying the electronic media collection;

said display including at least a first and a second frame where each frame displays selected electronic media from the electronic media collection selected from the group consisting of: audio, video, text, images, animations, web pages, streaming media data or combinations thereof and the subscriber sets a sequential order and time limit for each electronic media to be displayed on said display;

a service provider computer coupled to said controller via a network connection;

wherein a customer computer couples to said service provider computer via the network connection to set the electronic media collection; and

a code associated with at least one of the plurality of electronic media, which code may be scanned by a code reader and present additional information relating to the particular electronic communication.

12. The system according to claim 11 wherein said electronic media collection comprises pre-assembled electronic media or custom generated electronic media or both.

13. The system according to claim 11 wherein said code is selected from the group consisting of: a bar code, a UPC code, a EAN code, a QR code, or a DataMatrix code.

14. The system according to claim 11 wherein the code reader is provided in a portable electronic device selected from the group consisting of: a mobile phone, a smart phone, an electronic personal organizer and combinations thereof.

15. The system according to claim 14 wherein when the code is scanned and read by the code reader, the portable electronic device is navigated to a website where additional information relating to the particular electronic communication currently displayed is provided to a viewer.

16. The system according to claim 15 wherein once the portable electronic device is navigated to the website where additional information relating to the particular electronic communication currently displayed is provided to a viewer, the viewer is presented with the option of inputting information to the website.

17. The system according to claim 16 wherein once information is input to the website, the website presents or sends a confirmation to the portable electronic device.

18. The system according to claim 11 wherein the additional information relating to the electronic communication currently displayed comprises a survey.

19. The system according to claim 18 wherein answers provided to the survey are stored on said controller.
