Ocular compositions containing dioleoylphosphatidylglycerol and uses thereof

A method of treating a corneal disorder comprising administering to the eye of a patient in need thereof an ocular composition consisting of a pharmaceutically effective amount of dioleoylphosphatidylglycerol in the form of liposomes from about 10 μg/mL to about 1,000 μg/mL and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier liquid, wherein the corneal disorder is selected from the group consisting of corneal ulcer, corneal erosion, and corneal abrasions.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition is administered in an eye drop.
