Claims (6)

1. A method for treating a cancer patient who does not express TLR7 in cancer cells comprising

determining whether said cancer patient expresses TLR7 in cancer cells; and

administering a therapeutically effective amount of an agonist of TLR7 if said cancer patient does not express TLR7 in cancer cells.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein said agonist is used in combination with an anti-cancer agent.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer is selected from the group consisting of lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, renal carcinoma, prostate cancer, melanoma, and lymphoma.
