Antibodies to NTB-A
Anti-NTB-A antibodies and antigen-binding fragments thereof, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising such antibodies and antigen-binding fragments are described. Also described are methods of using such antibodies and antigen-binding regions to bind NTB-A and treat diseases, such as hematologic malignancies, which are characterized by expression of NIB-A.
1. An isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that is capable of specifically binding NTB-A, comprising:
a) a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO:30, SEQ ID NO:31 and SEQ ID NO:32; and
b) a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO:33, SEQ ID NO:34, and SEQ ID NO:35, wherein the antibody is not derived from a single source.
2. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein the heavy chain and the light chain are connected by a flexible linker to form a single chain antibody.
3. The antibody of claim 2 , which is a single-Fv antibody.
4. The antibody of claim 1 , which is an Fab antibody.
5. The antibody of claim 1 , which is an Fab′ antibody.
6. The antibody of claim 1 , which is an (Fab′)2 antibody.
7. The antibody of claim 1 , which is humanized.
8. The antibody of claim 1 , which is chimeric.
9. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody of claim 1 , further comprising a suitable carrier.
10. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody of claim 1 , further comprising at least one therapeutic agent.
11. A non-naturally occurring recombinant polypeptide that is capable of specifically binding NTB-A comprising heavy chain variable region comprising a CDR1, CDR2, and CDR3 that are identical to SEQ ID NO:30, SEQ ID NO:31, SEQ ID NO:32 respectively, and a light chain variable region comprising a CDR1, CDR2, and CDR3 that are identical to SEQ ID NO:33, SEQ ID NO:34, and SEQ ID NO:35 respectively.
12. The polypeptide of claim 11 , which is a single-Fv antibody, an Fab antibody, an Fab′ antibody, an (Fab′)2 antibody, a humanized antibody, or a chimeric antibody.
