Method of treatment of lymphoma with pegylated IL-10
Provided are methods of treatment for tumors. In particular, methods are provided for use of a chemically modified IL-10 to treat tumors.
1. A method of inhibiting or reducing growth of a tumor or cancer in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
administering to the subject an effective amount of a pegylated interleukin-10 (PEG-IL-10), wherein the cancer or tumor is lymphoma.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the subject is human.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 is human PEG-IL-10 (PEG-hIL-10).
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
6. The method of claim 3 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 is co-administered with at least one chemotherapeutic agent.
8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the chemotherapeutic agent is at least one of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, fludarabine, carboplatin, etoposide, mitoxantrone, ifosfamide, cytarabine, cisplatin, and bleomycin.
9. A method of treating a subject suffering from lymphoma, the method comprising:
administering to the subject an effective amount of a pegylated interleukin-10 (PEG-IL-10).
10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the subject is human.
11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 is human PEG-IL-10 (PEG-hIL-10).
12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
13. The method of claim 10 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
14. The method of claims 11 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 comprises a methoxy-PEG-aldehyde (PALD-PEG) linker.
15. The method of claim 9 , wherein the PEG-IL-10 is co-administered with at least one chemotherapeutic agent.
16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the chemotherapeutic agent is at least one of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, fludarabine, carboplatin, etoposide, mitoxantrone, ifosfamide, cytarabine, cisplatin, and bleomycin.
