Abstract

A content delivery platform is provided that includes generating a first content package of content that is encrypted with a unique symmetric key, and a second content package including a link encrypted with the key to the first content package. The first content package is stored in a repository, and a request including the key is transmitted to a first computing device associated with a mail exchange for an encryption key file. An encryption key file is generated using the unique symmetric key and together with a authorizing token is received. A third content package is generated that is encrypted using the encryption key file and includes the encrypted link. The third content package is transmitted to a distributor gateway and the encrypted link is accessible in response to the consumer decrypting the third content package. The link is available to provide to access to the content for the consumer.

Claims (37)

1. A method in furtherance of secure content generation and distribution, the method comprising:

receiving, by a computing device configured as an asymmetrically encrypted request generator process (“ARGP”), a message that includes a location of at least one content file encrypted as a function of a respective unique symmetric encryption key, and a location of a dispatch summary file;

for each record in the dispatch summary file:

retrieving, by the ARGP, a respective subscription identifier from a data store associated with a producer gateway;

generating, by the ARGP, a unique tracking identifier;

generating, by the ARGP, an asymmetrically encrypted symmetric key (“AESK”) request file that includes the respective subscription identifier, the unique tracking identifier and the respective unique symmetric encryption key; and

transmitting, by the ARGP, the AESK request file to a file mover component for transmission to a demilitarized zone of the producer gateway, wherein the AESK request file is usable to generate an AESK package file,

wherein the content file is decrypted as a function of decrypting the AESK package file, referencing the unique tracking identifier and decrypting the encrypted content file using the unique symmetric encryption key.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising for each record in the dispatch summary file:

generating, by a computing device configured as an AESK file generator process (“AFGP”), the AESK package file, wherein the AESK package file includes the unique tracking identifier, a unique transmission id, and the encrypted content.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the unique transmission id is formatted as a universally unique identifier and operates as a token to provide authorization for the producer gateway to send content to a consumer.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a dispatch command message on a message dispatcher queue to initiate file transmission.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content file is generated by a commercial mail generator, an enterprise mail dispatch system, and/or by digitizing physical mail.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the AESK request file is transmitted to an AESK request file retrieval component at a mail exchange gateway.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein a content packaging component within the producer gateway reads the AESK request file and the encrypted content, and creates a mail exchange content package.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the mail exchange content package contains the content or a link to the content.

9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

obtaining, by a computing device configured with a processor executing code as an AESK file retriever component, the AESK package file; and

transmitting, by the AESK file retriever component, the AESK package file to a domain associated with the producer gateway.

10. A computer-implemented system in furtherance of secure content generation and distribution, the system comprising:

a computing device configured with a processor executing code as an asymmetrically encrypted request generator process (“ARGP”) to receive a message that includes a location of at least one content file encrypted as a function of a respective unique symmetric encryption key, and a location of a dispatch summary file;

for each record in the dispatch summary file, the ARGP being further configured to:

retrieve a respective subscription identifier from a data store associated with a producer gateway;

generate a unique tracking identifier;

generate an asymmetrically encrypted symmetric key (“AESK”) request file that includes the respective subscription identifier, the unique tracking identifier and the respective unique symmetric encryption key; and

transmit the AESK request file to a file mover component for transmission to a demilitarized zone of the producer gateway, wherein the AESK request file is usable to generate an AESK package file,

wherein the content file is decrypted as a function of decrypting the AESK package file, referencing the unique tracking identifier and decrypting the encrypted content file using the unique symmetric encryption key.

11. The system of claim 10 , further comprising a computing device configured with a processor executing code as an AESK file generator process (“AFGP”) that, for each record in the dispatch summary file, is configured to:

generate the AESK package file, wherein the AESK package file includes the unique tracking identifier, a unique transmission id, and the encrypted content.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the unique transmission id is formatted as a universally unique identifier and operates as a token to provide authorization for the producer gateway to send content to a consumer.

13. The system of claim 10 , further wherein a dispatch command message is transmitted on a message dispatcher queue to initiate file transmission.

14. The system of claim 10 , wherein the content file is generated by a commercial mail generator, an enterprise mail dispatch system, and/or by digitizing physical mail.

15. The system of claim 10 , wherein the AESK request file is transmitted to an AESK request file retrieval component at a mail exchange gateway.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein a content packaging component within the producer gateway reads the AESK request file and the encrypted content, and creates a mail exchange content package.

17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the mail exchange content package contains the content or a link to the content.

18. The system of claim 10 , further comprising:

a computing device configured with a processor executing code as an AESK file retriever component to obtain the AESK package file, and to transmit the AESK package file to a domain associated with the producer gateway.
