Tongs for sealing an opening of a bag includes a first body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side, and a second body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side. The first body and the second body are configured to be combined with each other, so that the first body and the second body cover a surface and an opposite surface of the bag configured to cover and seal the opening of the bag.

Claims (32)

1. Tongs for sealing an opening of a bag, comprising:

a first body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side, the first side and the second side perpendicular to each other;

a second body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side, the first side and the second side perpendicular to each other;

a sealing part disposed between the first body and the second body, the sealing part configured to press the bag, the sealing part comprising:

at least one sealing protrusion formed along a length direction of the third side of the first body on a surface of the first body; and

a sealing groove formed along a length direction of the third side of the second body on a surface of the second body, the sealing groove receiving the at least one sealing protrusion when the first body and the second body are combined,

wherein the first body and the second body are configured to be combined with each other, and the first body and the second body cover a surface and an opposite surface of the bag to seal the opening of the bag when the first body and the second body are combined with each other; and

wherein the second side of the first body and the second side of the second body are connected to each other, and the first body is rotatable relative to the second body around a borderline between the second side of the first body and the second side of the second body.

2. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein the first side of each of the first and second bodies is located in parallel with a length direction of a first side of the bag, and the second side of each of the first and second bodies is located in parallel with a length direction of a second side of the bag, when the tongs nip the bag.

3. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein the third side of each of the first and second bodies is a straight line.

4. The tongs of claim 3 , wherein the third side of each of the first and second bodies has at least one bent portion.

5. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein the third side of each of the first and second bodies is a curved line.

6. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein each of the third side of the first and second bodies is protruded or recessed.

7. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein the at least one sealing protrusion is belt-shaped.

8. The tongs of claim 1 ,

wherein the second body has a receiving groove formed between the first and second sides and the sealing groove, and the receiving groove is configured to receive contents which are leaked from the opening of the bag.

9. The tongs of claim 8 , wherein the first body has an area which is opposite to the receiving groove and is formed by a protrusion wall on the first body.

10. The tongs of claim 9 , wherein an outer surface of the protrusion wall of the first body makes contact with an inner surface of the receiving groove of the second body when the protrusion wall is inserted in the receiving groove.

11. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein the second body has a recess portion which forms a stepped portion with the first and second bodies.

12. The tongs of claim 1 , wherein when the first body and the second body are combined to seal the bag, a gap is formed between the third side of the first body and the third side of the second body.

13. The Tongs of claim 1 , further comprising a locking part to prevent unwanted separation of the first and second body, wherein the locking part comprises locking bump formed at the first or second body, and a locking groove formed at the second or first body to engage with the locking bump.

14. The Tongs of claim 13 , wherein the first or second body has a handle part extending outwards from the first or second body.

15. Tongs for sealing an opening of a bag, comprising:

a first body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side;

a second body having a first side, a second side and a third side connecting the first and second side, the first side and the second side perpendicular to each other;

a sealing part disposed between the first body and the second body, the sealing part configured to press the bag, the sealing part comprising:

at least one sealing protrusion on a surface of the first body; and

a sealing groove formed on a surface of the second body, the sealing groove receiving the at least one sealing protrusion when the first body and the second body are combined,

wherein the first body and the second body are configured to be combined with each other, and the first body and the second body cover a surface and an opposite surface of the bag to seal the opening of the bag when the first body and the second body are combined with each other; and

wherein the second body has a receiving groove formed between the first and second sides and the sealing groove, the receiving groove is configured to receive contents which are leaked from the opening of the bag;

wherein the first body has an area which is opposite to the receiving groove and is formed by a protrusion wall on the first body; and

wherein an outer surface of the protrusion wall of the first body makes contact with an inner surface of the receiving groove of the second body when the protrusion wall is inserted in the receiving groove.
