Abstract

A wireless power transmission method in which a demanded power of a first wireless power receiver is adjusted by the first wireless power receiver within first and second available power of the wireless power transmitter.

Claims (69)

1. A wireless power transmission method of a wireless power transmitter comprising:

transmitting a first state information of the wireless power transmitter to a first wireless power receiver;

receiving a first state information of the first wireless power receiver from the first wireless power receiver;

transmitting a first power adjusted based on the first state information of the first wireless power receiver to the first wireless power receiver;

transmitting a second state information of the wireless power transmitter to the first wireless power receiver;

receiving a second state information of the first wireless power receiver from the first wireless power receiver; and

transmitting a second power adjusted based on the second state information of the first wireless power receiver to the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the first state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a first available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the first state information of the first wireless power receiver comprises a first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is adjusted by the first wireless power receiver within the first available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a second available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the second state information of the first wireless power receiver comprises a second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is adjusted by the first wireless power receiver within the second available power of the wireless power transmitter, and

wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter is transmitted in response to a state change of the wireless power transmitter.

2. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises the first available power of the wireless power transmitter changing due to an external factor.

3. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises a number of the wireless power receivers changing.

4. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises the wireless power transmitter transmits or receives an unexpected data packet.

5. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises power transmission of the wireless power transmitter stopping during a predetermined time.

6. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter is different from the first state information of the wireless power transmitter.

7. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the first available power of the wireless power transmitter is a value reduced from the second available power of the wireless power transmitter.

8. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the first available power of the wireless power transmitter is a value raised from the second available power of the wireless power transmitter.

9. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the second state information of the first wireless power receiver is different from the first state information of the first wireless power receiver.

10. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is a value reduced from the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver.

11. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is a value raised from the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver.

12. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , further comprising:

transmitting a third state information of the wireless power transmitter to a second wireless power receiver;

receiving a third state information of the second wireless power receiver from the second wireless power receiver; and

transmitting a third power adjusted based on the second state information of the second wireless power receiver to the second wireless power receiver,

wherein the third state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a third available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the third state information of the second wireless power receiver comprises a third demanded power of the second wireless power receiver, and

wherein the third demanded power of the second wireless power receiver is adjusted by the second wireless power receiver within the third available power of the wireless power transmitter.

13. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein information exchange between the wireless power transmitter and the first wireless power receiver is conducted during power transmission of the wireless power transmitter.

14. The wireless power transmission method of claim 1 , wherein power transmission of the wireless power transmitter is conducted via a first frequency band.

15. The wireless power transmission method of claim 14 , wherein information exchange between the wireless power transmitter and the first wireless power receiver is conducted via a second frequency band different from the first frequency band.

16. A wireless power transmitter comprising:

a negotiation unit configured to:

transmit a first state information of the wireless power transmitter to a first wireless power receiver;

receive a first state information of the first wireless power receiver from the first wireless power receiver;

transmit a first power adjusted based on the first state information of the first wireless power receiver to the first wireless power receiver;

transmit a second state information of the wireless power transmitter to the first wireless power receiver;

receive a second state information of the first wireless power receiver from the first wireless power receiver; and

transmit a second power adjusted based on the second state information of the first wireless power receiver to the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the first state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a first available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the first state information of the first wireless power receiver comprises a first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is adjusted by the first wireless power receiver within the first available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a second available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the second state information of the first wireless power receiver comprises a second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver,

wherein the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is adjusted by the first wireless power receiver within the second available power of the wireless power transmitter, and

wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter is transmitted in response to a state change of the wireless power transmitter.

17. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises the first available power of the wireless power transmitter changing due to an external factor.

18. The wireless power transmitter of claim 17 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises a number of the wireless power receivers changing.

19. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises the wireless power transmitter transmits or receives an unexpected data packet.

20. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the state change of the wireless power transmitter comprises power transmission of the wireless power transmitter stopping during a predetermined time.

21. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the second state information of the wireless power transmitter is different from the first state information of the wireless power transmitter.

22. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the first available power of the wireless power transmitter is a value reduced from the second available power of the wireless power transmitter.

23. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the first available power of the wireless power transmitter is a value raised from the second available power of the wireless power transmitter.

24. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the second state information of the first wireless power receiver is different from the first state information of the first wireless power receiver.

25. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is a value reduced from the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver.

26. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the first demanded power of the first wireless power receiver is a value raised from the second demanded power of the first wireless power receiver.

27. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein the negotiation unit is further configured to:

transmit a third state information of the wireless power transmitter to a second wireless power receiver;

receive a third state information of the second wireless power receiver from the second wireless power receiver; and

transmit a third power adjusted based on the second state information of the second wireless power receiver to the second wireless power receiver,

wherein the third state information of the wireless power transmitter comprises a third available power of the wireless power transmitter,

wherein the third state information of the second wireless power receiver comprises a third demanded power of the second wireless power receiver, and

wherein the third demanded power of the second wireless power receiver is adjusted by the second wireless power receiver within the third available power of the wireless power transmitter.

28. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein information exchange between the wireless power transmitter and the first wireless power receiver is conducted during power transmission of the wireless power transmitter.

29. The wireless power transmitter of claim 16 , wherein power transmission of the wireless power transmitter is conducted via a first frequency band.

30. The wireless power transmitter of claim 29 , wherein information exchange between the wireless power transmitter and the first wireless power receiver is conducted via a second frequency band different from the first frequency band.
